Lovely little site and nice pub with good food.

Toilet and shower needs updating pitches are a bit noisy with road and train but you get use to it.

Werkelijk helemaal niets.

11 camper(van)/caravan plaatsen en één (gore) douche met toilet.
Enorm geluidsoverlast van voorbij razend verkeer en treinen.
Wij stonden Direct naast de dump, dus het stonk er enorm. Honden zijn welkom, maar nergens de mogelijkheid om je hond uit te laten dan op de parkeerplaats van het restaurant. Op de foto's ziet het er allemaal keurig uit, maar de werkelijkheid is anders. Wij hadden voor twee nachten geboekt, maar zijn na één nacht weggegaan.

Nice small site with hard standing, behind an excellent pub. Very friendly service from all the staff. One loo with shower and was clean.

Road noise, but it’s quiet after 11pm

Clearly, a popular site judging by late afternoon arrivals throughout our week's stay. Very nice pub serving delicious food if you cant be bothered to cook for yourself. One of the key things by which I judge all sites are the facilities for emptying grey water and the toilet cassette. These are excellent, being clean and almost totally odour-free.

Not a specific dislike but something to note if you're an octogenarian like me. Some of the paving slabs adjacent to the liquid waste disposal site are a trip hazard. I lost my balance when emptying our grey waste water, nearly fell into the hole and saved myself by falling sideways, suffering some nasty skin grazes thereby. This is NOT a complaint but we live in a litigious age where another person might attempt to sue the owners for injuries - so just be careful!

We certainly weren't expecting to entertain the police in our awning to coffee while they took statements on our second night. Our immediate neighbours (adult father and son) decided to have a fight as both had had too much to drink during the day, resulting in the son hitting his father so hard it pushed him out of his deckchair with lots of blood going everywhere! Not the sort of thing one expects while on holiday and certainly not the fault of the site owners. That said, the incident did add a little 'colour' to an otherwise entirely enjoyable stay.

The campsite is well-maintained with level pitches that are easy to access. Online booking was straightforward and hassle-free. Clean showers and toilets are available. There’s also a place to fill up fresh water and empty the toilet.

There was loud road noise late into the evening, and no possibility to start hikes directly from the campsite. Greywater disposal was difficult, and a power pole was placed awkwardly in the middle of the pitch. The site appeared nicer in the photos than in reality. Unfortunately, our request to shorten the stay was ignored.

Absolutely Superb!! The pitches are ideally spaced and in a very quiet area. he associated toilet/shower (Single)was very clean. We arrived at lunch time so dined in the bar. The staff were very welcoming, the menu choice was good and the food was delicious. It's not often I feel a pub meets "my" standards but this one certainly does! Just need a reason to go back!
