Pitches were a bit boggy, but that’s nature for you, it had rained a lot. Luckily we could choose which one we wanted as it was quiet.

Midgies. They were biters.

The village was very quiet, nothing much there.

Great facilities, immaculate bathrooms and showers, spacious pitches. Very easy check in, a minutes walk from the beach and excellent value for money.

We arrived at the park very late, due to huge traffic on M6, anyway we were welcomed but the person who was working after hours, he gave us the welcome packs and was not very helpful, he did not show us our pitches only pointed on the map where are the pitches located. We have been trying to find the touring park in pitch dark as well as looking for a pitch to put our tent in, which by the way was not flooded. Believe me there was nothing really dry there to put the tent up. The person who welcomed us did not show us which pitch we can use, he said that it is a responsibility of the day guy. And it was not easy to say how big are the pitches as it was very dark. Anyway we have been in many parks/campsites in the past few years and have never experienced anything like this. It looked very disorganised and I felt like we were left to our own. We put our tents down in the dark, did not even anchor it correctly as we did not want to disturb other people using the touring park, and the next day we were asked to move our tents due to health & safety, which I did not mind but it would save us lots of time if we would be pointed to right direction a night before instead of putting our tents up twice within few hours. Next things which I would address is that in the welcome pack we had some tickets, which we did not know what for, asked next day in reception to be told that they are to access swimming pool, when we went to access it (just after 10am) we have been informed that it is booked by the hours and nothing was available for that day and that we were suppose to book it a day before but no-one told us that at the time. The holiday park overall looked great and you could see that there was lots of things to do, you could not have been bored there but considering my personal experience I would not recommend this site to anyone who wants to use tent pitch.

Amazing holiday park we were greeted with a warm welcome and stayed the night on a tent pitch. Beautiful scenery and a very much go to for those with children lots to do. Clean facilities and shops and takeaways on site. Will certainly be returning

Nothing

Absolutely everything . We don't usually like big family sites . However, this was the only place with availability. Thankfully , we loved it . So friendly and the amenities, restaurants,bar,pizza van and bar were fantastic. There's even a chip shop on site . The views are special and the walk into town was enough to enjoy . Shout out to the 'Balmoral hotel ' great atmosphere.
