Welfare facilities. Bar and restaurant area.

Most pitches were rutted and devoid of grass. Pitches were for every type of vehicle so tents would be erected on uneven and rough pitches mostly used by caravans or motorhomes. I think that the site mostly catered for these type of vehicles. This is our 2nd visit to Solway in about 2 months. The first was a spur of the moment booking the 2nd was booked well in advance. If I had known what the pitches were like I would not have booked. The shower and toilet block is new and we'll kept but there is nowhere to hang your garments or wash bag when showering except for one hook on the side. The restaurant and bar area were ok but staff were not too helpful. The on site fish and chip shop (Box Fish) was terrible.

Loud disruptive music from other groups, children running/riding bikes and cutting across pitches also bumping into vans.

Everything about the campsite was amazing. Great location

One our last night we where served with flimsy plastic glasses which made it difficult to hold and wife had a glass of wine served in a plastic pint pot

Entertainment room unavailable to use until late Sunday night due to presentation nothing out on it’s place,

Site was lovely shower and toilet facilities where spotless.

The weather was awful

The site was nice and clean the bar/restaurant was new and fresh looking and nice food etc. we arrived late at night 10pm ish and there was still chance to get food from pizza van outside which was a bonus and the bar both open until midnight.

Mainly all the staff were very nice and helpful not one of them was miserable so that was the main pleasing factor for us.

Also the shower and toilet block in the touring site was nice and clean the showers were brilliant!

Excellent stay 5min walk to pool extra, Had grandson 17month old entertainment for him was Excellent. Would recommend.

The staff were fantastic, so thoughtful and kind. The life guards were also amazing.
Night time entertainment was the best we have been to.
Stone baked pizzas were the best.

Activities weren't available till after 1.
Pool times changed and we weren't notified and we went to the pool with the kids all ready and it was closed.
Food and drinks very expensive.
Locks on bathroom doors at restaurant didn't work on both male and female, adults walked in on kids on the toilet.
No toilet roll anywhere in any of the toilets.
Showers need a seat in them, even the disabled bathroom didn't have one in the shower or a hand dryer. Toilets very dirty.
No park on site at all for the kids.
