Hi Antony. Thank you for your kind words about the park and facilities. I apologise for your neighbours who ruined your stay and the warden did have a word with them and they did put the music off. Unfortunatley the D of E youngsters and leader turned up late because their lifft was late, they were supposed to arrive at 8.00pm some cicumstances are beyond our control.

Spotlessly clean toilet and shower block. The washing facilities were also very clean.There was a little shop on site that stocked essentials.
The site offered a no nonsense approach. On the first night we witnessed very very noisy neighbours, so we took ourselves off to bed. By the morning they had been told to pack up and leave the site!

Thank you Helen for a great review. So happy that you enjoyed our shower block we are rather proud of them and try to keep on top of the cleaning. We are also very proud of our little shop where we try and stock a little bit of everything. we believe that everyone should enjoy their stay with us and try and encourage people to respect other campers but occasionally this doesn't happen as you witnessed and we will not tolerate that and believe me if the warden is called out twice ....well!!!. Übersetzen (Von Google Translate)Beliebt: The facilities here are excellent. Felt more like a hotel than a camp site! Very clean. The setting is also stunning, moments away from Lake Bala and the outdoor activity centre where you can hire canoes, etc. (it’s a walk away).
Unbeliebt: The touring pitches towards the bottom (we were number 12) felt a little like the poor cousins of the rest of the site. That said, if we didn’t have the upgraded pitches for comparison we’d have said it was spot on.

Short walk down to the lake and Bala town centre, easy to get something to eat or visit shops, plus a small shop on site with camping essentials, where I got a hookup extension as I forgot mine. We arrived after the site office closed but they left a map for us to locate our pitch.
Had one noisy family on one evening - we returned home from a long hike just after 11pm, and honestly they did not shut up til gone 1am - but I did hear the site manager asking/telling them to keep it down and go to bed - they were packed up the following morning but not sure if they were asked to leave. The site is advertised as a family site and quiet hours after 10:30pm so I'm glad an attempt was made to abide by this from the site.
Unbeliebt: I should mention that wifi is advertised - it may be obvious but the further you are from the site office, the wifi will not be particularly useable, and there isn't really anywhere indoors (except maybe the toilets ha) to sit and use it if you would need to - and the tent pitches in particular are all probably too far away to make use of it.
Thank you Matt for your review 😊 We are very proud of our amenity block (and think it makes the camping experience that little bit more luxurious!). We also try to stock the essentials as well as a few treats. We are sorry about any disturbances, we do our best to deal with any problems fairly and at the time of them happening.
With regards to the Wi-Fi, we do admit that it isn't the best and this is something we have on our list to look into over the Winter when we close. However, it has nothing to do with the proximity to the office as it is a different system to the one we use in there. There are a couple of Wi-Fi mast points situated around the park to try and cover as much of the site as possible. Admittedly, it doesn't reach up to the Shepherd's Huts and maybe the furthest tent/touring pitches.
