Beautiful location! You could pitch wherever you wanted and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful. Stayed over bank holiday weekend and although it was busy didn’t feel crowded or packed in at all

Take a torch as the lights in the toilets are quite dim

Wow, definitely going back next year. We were in a roof tent with an air shelter. Ground really flat and grass kept to a good length. Nice touch with the sunflower maze and sunflowers scattered around the site. Plenty of room and free to select own spot. Dave was definitely the reason why so many people like this place. Great welcoming guy who goes the extra mile. We camp a few times a year but never seen an owner work so hard. Toilets are clean and well stocked and checked throughout the day and first thing. Showers are hot and also clean. Plenty of hand soap and essentials provided by site.

Little shop on site selling local honey and eggs. Fridge and freezer really clean inside too. Soft drinks, marshmallows, ice cream, water all with an honesty box. Really good value and trusting. Wood and kindling also for sale. Great touch with fire pits provided from old steel alloys and benches also dotted around that can be used.

Dave was always going around checking that everyone is OK for wood and essentials with particular attention to families making sure they were all happy and having a good time. Would highly recommend to anyone. Views are fantastic, lively site with plenty of space for over 100 tents. Weather was amazing for a BH August adding to the experience.

WiFi / reception hit and miss but can be a good thing to switch off, can't be helped.

Absolutely nothing

We had a great time! The campsite was great with amazing views and plenty of space to set up camp. Dave is a great host, very friendly and checked in to make sure everything was ok. Facilities were great and very clean. The onsite shop was great for firewood soft drinks, ice cream. Carrie (the owners dog) was very cute and friendly!
We would thoroughly recommend.

Such a beautiful site. Spacious pitches. Owners are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Very relaxed with no times set to be off your pitch. Great little shop on site selling firewood, honey, eggs as well as cold drinks sweets and biscuits. Not forgetting marshmallows for the camp fire. There is also a fridge if you need it. We will definitely be returning.

The stay was amazing , the owner Dave was so kind and said hello to everyone in the morning making all feel welcome. There was good facilities and beautiful scenery(sunflowers especially). there were not strict rules so we felt like we could relax and the little shop they had on site added to the experience we had farm fresh eggs each morning and Dave even got us the supplies (that we forgot🙄) to make a morning coffee. Me and my group will definitely be going there again! :) :)
