Absolutely immaculately kept, it's a family run enterprise, Rachel and Dad are lovely, and the facilities are 1st class. Fishing was amazing and free! Biggest carp I had just over 13lb! There are pubs not far away,a coop close by,should you need supplies. I can most definitely recommend thus place , I can't wait to return.

The site was spotless throughout. Toilets and shower were very well maintained and restocked regularly. The staff we saw were lovely and we got a very helpful welcome message with the code to the gate and specific directions. A few people fishing in the small lakes and this all added to the sense of relaxation. Absolutely perfect.

Showers were lovely, hot water and modern. Lakes looked pretty - lots of people using these for fishing. Supermarket nearby for any essentials too - place to get away from it all or base to see things. Would recommend and also return again - thank you so much.

The customers were greeted by both owners of the site, they were told they could pitch their tent wherever they wished. There were plenty of flat areas to choose from. The ‘lack of written instructions and verbal briefing’ comment refers to the guests being unable to work out how to use the shower which has a pull cord marked on/off. Although we have had many thousands of visitors successfully manage this unaided we will in future be offering on/off briefings for visitors at the start of the stay. (For those visitors wishing to save precious holiday time it’s on when water comes out and off when no water comes out!) With regards to the unfriendly emergency support it’s hard to stay smiley at 11.30 at night trying to explain the principle of on/off for the 25th time however I apologise if my exasperation my have come across as unfriendly!
