Hen's Dens campsite is an amazing place for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable camping experience. The site is located in a beautiful and serene natural setting, with lush greenery and a tranquil atmosphere that is perfect for relaxation. The facilities are excellent, with clean and well-maintained amenities, including modern shower blocks and toilets.

Very peaceful site located in beautiful surroundings. The sites facilites were excellent and immaculately clean. Showers are amazing, the best i've ever used on a campsite. Eco friendly with nice little touches including access to fire pits, a fridge, washing machine, microwave and games room. Perfect for a relaxing stay to unwind. Great bus routes into Teignmounth and Torquay, only a 5 minutes walk for £2.

These did not affect our stay in anyway and are not dislikes, but thought i would mention them. The pitches are not perfectly level, so make sure you have levellers if you want it perfectly level. For us, it just meant we had to reposition the van to find a spot that work for our levellers, which are not that big. The pitches are quite narrow as well, so wont be big enough for units with large awnings. We have a Vango Faros, which just fit on the Katy pitch on my VW T5.1. It wouldnt fit on the Gala pitch, so we asked to move. They were very accomodating as well, which was brilliant. Other pitches looked narrower than the Katy, so just check if you are looking to bring an awning. There were no hand towels or dryers in toilet areas, but again, these were kept immaculately clean, so you just need to remember to take your own towel to dry your hands when using the toilet. There wasnt a chemical disposal point from what i could see either, so had nowhere to empty portaloo or waste water container. You are no further than 30 seconds from a toilet anyway, but just in case you need to use one in your van.

Great facilities and location. Very close to the beach.

Had high winds during one night of our stay and the ground was soft. Our tent was leaning considerably as there wasn’t much in the way of shelter. Not a fault of the location… just British weather!!

Very Peaceful site with nice views - Showers were really good & clean - near places to visit, including Torquay & Paignton & Caves.

Great, quiete area which was what we were after. The huts are warm, cosy and the addition of showers, fridge and washing machine really made it brilliant.

We adored the tranquil and secluded spot where our converted chicken shed was nestled in.The convenience of the close by bathrooms/kitchen facilities.Our kids loved the friendly “working”dog who played with them and added extra fun to their stay.It was great to have use of the shared space especially on rainier days😊We loved the close to the beach location and cannot recommend it enough for families!Thanks for a great stay.

Lovely spot, good cycling and walking and the farmer is a nice guy. A bit too much mud but that was just the weather. We will go back for more of our coastal walk
