Everything is on hand for your needs! Showers were individual bathrooms and kept clean and well maintained. Laundry room perfect for rinsing lake clothing, freezers for your ice packs. The shop had every necessity and more. The cafe was delicious especially the pizzas. All the staff were so friendly and helpful . We couldn’t fault a thing.

Lies told by the staff and trees falling on pitches opposite while we were sleeping. Would let us pitch together even though made a 200 mile round trip. Also traffic was really loud from motorway, horns, trucks....

All the activities were fantastic the camping was well thought about very good set up

I'm sorry to say this did not like kids playing a round my car and caravan . Triping over the gide line for the awning not on

The activity centre, particularly the water park was great for the older children. They worked very hard at keeping the shower and toilet block clean throughout the day.

Pitches were quite close together, great if saying as an extended group, but as just us, we felt very close to neighbours. The road noise was also noticeable, but not too bad.

The activities were great. Site was nice and clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend and will use again

Lovely quiet site with good sized level pitches off a meandering track and lots of trees - not all in a row which was nice. Facilities were very good and kept clean. It was quite quiet when we were there (Monday & Tuesday nights) so perfect for us, but everything seemed well spaced out so I don’t think would feel cramped even if full.

Only downside was that our pitch got hardly any sun - not too much of an issue as the trees helped make the site lovely, but meant we couldn’t really sit out next to our motorhome. Maybe worth clarifying on either booking or check-in especially when quiet (as there were plenty of spare pitches so we could have moved but didn’t realise until the sun eventually came out!)

The aqua park was fun. The welcome was not.

We camp 5 times every summer holidays and go to different sites each time. I have never been to a stricter site with a more unfriendly welcome. The day before a LONG email of rules and regulations greats you followed by a recap as soon as you arrive (not a friendly welcome at all) followed by a second reminder of the rules via email within minutes of getting to the pitch. There are rules about how far you can pitch your tent back to the point of staff standing with you as you begin to pitch it, leaving large areas behind your tent redundant and it being pushed close to the road (not the safest for young families). Pitches are super close together, almost touching. They are very strict about what you can plug in, one item only at a time, how long your electric box cable is (15 metres minimum as that’s how far back you will need to pitch your tent). Activities are way over priced- £11 for a climb which is 15 minutes long (not 30 as advertised) is a complete rip off. The facilities are one room for both shower and toilet which means everyone is in and out first thing leaving the floors filthy by 7am for a disgustingly dirty shower. Huge que forms as a result as the 10 rooms for the entire site fills quickly so if you’re desperate for the toilet and people are showering it’s a long wait! I could go on…. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend.

Superb facilities (shower/toilet block), able to take own fire pit and wood and superb attendants.

We liked the size of the pitches, trees and the playparks were great for the kids. Kids could be kids!
The site is in a really great village with fields, parks, pubs and shops within walking distance. Great for
Dog owners.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the shop is well stocked.

Overall a good campsite and would stay again

For feedback: please bare in mind the site was fully booked. The toilets were a bit of an issue. I think due to the amount use/ amount of people they were always needing cleaned. In my opinion people should clean up after themselves.
The biggest issue for us was the firepits, you couldn't breath because people were burning anything and everything! We seen some people hacking down branches and throwing rubbish in them.
The campsite was very busy and loud but come 11pm a member of staff would go round and request quiet which was good.

The whole site was very well planned with all facilities in good
Locations plenty of space for all.Kids loved the open space to explore and make dens and play games.Site was secure and very well looked after.
