The camp site is well set up and maintained. The information provided at check in is obviously well used and shared with everyone’s enjoyment in mind.

We stayed for two nights, hiring a fire pit on the second night. It was a great experience.

The facilities are well maintained and sufficient for the site.

We absolutely plan to return and explore more of the local area.

Excellent location well received by David and his good lady . Some beautiful countryside great walks around lakes we had some nice meals at the local pub the boathouse in Ellsmere (not sure about spelling) we also had the company of my nephew and his good lady who stayed in the Yert the were greatly impressed will definitely return

Midges!!! When walking home from our pub dinner, we got to the field and I could hear a buzzing. My partner said must be an electric pilon nearby. Nope! Above the trees were millions, and I mean black clouds of MILLIONS of what I assume were midges! I was so scared of being eaten alive, we left!

Warning! Don’t go there!Because you won’t go to any other campsites in your life after staying in Colemere:D this one is the best in the UK!
So peaceful, never have been in place where are so many diferent birds, owls howling helps you to fall asleep at night. Fields are nice level, grass thick and soft - makes sleep in the tent even better, never packed with people, everyone have so much space. Toilets, showers always clean. Community building has lounge, bar and dinning areas, fridges, sink, gas fireplace, charging stations. Beautyful walks in the area.. pubs, restaurants, shops in 5-10min drive distance.
I can’t describe how amazing and special this place is.
We are a family without kids, and this adults only campsite just perfect for us.
Thank you to Ingrid & Dave for creating this place, working so hard that we have a place to come, relax, be closer to nature and recharge after fast living in the big city.

This place is the best in the UK!
Beautyfull place, nature so lush. Facilities always clean, tidy. Owners are the kindest people on this planet. I can’t tell enough to describe how amazing this campsite is.
We try other places but always regret and come back to Colemere.
