The locations of the site was perfect and very idilic, close enough to travel to supermarket by car if needing to.
Owner was very helpful and set up our fire pit next to our pitch. We stayed in the yurt which was nicely fitted out with blankets, minifridge and a plates etc
Facilities were clean on every visit. Reception area was lovely and catered for everything you could think of.
Lots of beautiful scenery and walks close to hand.

Dead flies dropping on the bed from the yurt roof window. Understandably being out in nature but maybe could have been delt with before our arrival.
Wooden step into yurt was very slippy and I did manage to slip on it despite being aware it was wet and slippy.

So peaceful and you can walk directly off the site onto a beautiful walk around Colemere lake.
The owners were very helpful with everything and local knowledge was excellent.

Lovely well kept site. Common area was a plus with kitchen facilities as well as lovely toilets & showers available. Hot tub hire was also a lovely bonus. Walk around the lake from the site was really nice.

This site was absolutely beautiful, being surrounded by the sound of wildlife, bunnies running around, the pond was so beautiful I could honestly sit and watch the pond with the birds and dragonflies for hours.
Very peaceful place to re charge and be with your loved ones.
We pitched up in the back field, very short two minute walk up to the reception area.
Showers and toilets were clean and never too busy, the kitchen area was clean. The lounge was so lovely with the rustic look, plenty of seats and heaters if it got cold.
We had everything we could have needed in that one spot.
Adult only site, WiFi in the lounge and signal was hit and miss in the tent but we enjoyed the time away from the phones.

Beautifully laid out site with excellent facilities. Ingrid & John are very welcoming and helpful. Fabulous walks right from the campsite and Ellesmere is a lovely town nearby. It's a quick drive or a walk along the canal away. Very peaceful with loads of wildlife.
