The hut with the sofas etc is a fantastic addition to the camp site as we spent Friday evening in there when it rained.wild life everywhere, birds, owls, rabbits, foxes etc... will definitely be coming back

Unbeliebt: There was a group of young campers in the field next to us around 8-10 of them, they had their dogs off lead and they were running all over the place and into our camp set up, they were up loud until around 4am which disturbed the beautiful tranquil feel of the site.. not the owners fault but I was quite surprised that they weren't told to quite down, felt sorry for the campers next to them if we could hear from the next field

Sorry you had to experience this but we have been in touch with the group concerned not to return as a group. Wish this had been brought to our attention on the Saturday evening as they assured us they would be quiet and music would be off by 10pm . We have a strict policy in place regarding dogs being on leads at all times while on site. We trusted them to behave with awareness and respect for the other

Thanks' for your review , I would like to clarify the distance from the loos , there's a lot of choice of pitches , some very near & some nearer the lake ! Everyone selects their own spot , so I don't quite understand why pick one far away , If you like to be by the loos ???? Unfortunately fire pits divide opinion ! Not all guests like them because of the smoke ! Also people in the village have complained about smoke ! All activities have to be sustainable & we only make a small margin on them as we have to purchase the wood & pay insurance ! Other problems with them are If people bring their own wood , It can contain wood stain , nails & screws which of course can cause punctures ! Because the wood we use is clean all our land is clear of debris , so no punctures !! Unfortunately because of the above we may not be able to continue having them in the future especially If we get marked down for having them !
