Immaculate bathroom/ shower rooms. Cleanest I have seen. Bistro/ bar on site. Again friendly staff. Only serve from 4 pm to 8pm. Limited menu. Loved the enclosed dog run.Unbeliebt: Need more lighting . Very dark at night.
Music a bit loud in bar and could do with a better choice. Nothing for dogs ? Need to check dog run as post at gate is loose.

Unbeliebt: Showers seriously need to be acquainted with some descaler. Water sprays everywhere but on you! Also the shower rooms are overly heated and quickly turn into a sauna. It’s a real shame but a lot of nice campsites really don’t spend time considering the facilities. Such small fixes would make a massive difference. And it’s these little things that probably seem inconsiderate to owners but are the reason some people, like us, probably won’t return.

Good laundry facilities***Please note there is no supermarket anywhere locally(40 min drive) so stock up before you go.
Unbeliebt: Dirty smelly cold toilets ( constant smell of sewage) even after they were cleaned. With a hole in the roof !!!
Poor showers
The shower block by the bar was cleaner and warmer but the showers were still awful, been as well just using a tap.
Swimming pool was cold and the toddler pool was full of “debris”
Unsupervised children ( despite there being notices that they would be accompanied) were causing chaos … so much so we didn’t go in !Despite the location, if you want a nice quiet break then this site is def NOT for you!

I am glad you found our staff friendly. We have had some particularly wet weather which does unfortunately flood some of our pitches however we do move our guests before arrival so they are not affected by this.
