Really liked the location, seemed remote but close to villages and trails. Host's lovely and friendly.

Unfortunately on the second and third nights of my stay, the field was very overcrowded with a lot of large groups in. Very noisy, foul language, raucous and loud music playing into the small hours of the morning, then again at 5:30 am. I felt sorry for the familes there also, not child appropriate. Not at all the "peaceful wild camping" as described and I'd look elsewhere next time.

Easy access, friendly staff. Super friendly dogs and nice toilets.

Not a dislike just a note - it’s a sloping field so if in a van / caravan / trailer tent make sure you have levelling blocks etc.

Hosting and pitch was amazing. A lot of flexibility as well. Easy to find. Had an amazing time.

Absolutely amazing location, breathtaking scenery surrounding the site. Lovely village pub about 10mins away. Plenty of space on the site and well maintained. The only site so far in the Peak District where I have had phone signal too which is great!

Brilliant campsite, amazing views and good treks nearby. Bloke who looks after the campsite was top notch, really helpful and understanding.

Toilet block, hot shower cleaned daily. Friendly owner. Clean site with lovely views.

Limited flat pitching areas.

A lovely laid back friendly site . With lovely views . Rang on arrival and was told pitch up where you want and we will pop and get your money later . So stress free . The guy ( Colin ) who collected the site fee later was very friendly and full of information. A great pub 20 minutes walk away with good beer and great food as recommended by Colin.

Annie made me feel very welcome, I was travelling solo. This site has stunning views all around. I throughly enjoyed my time here and places were easy to get to with a car. Spent most of my time either walking or running the dales. A massive shout out to Colin and his doggies who helped me assemble my tent 😂 Vikki

Very quiet site nice views.

Not the flattest of fields but overall not too bad at all.
