Not enough showers for all campers, we stayed in the overflow field and the toilets down there weren’t pleasant. We were told upon arrival to keep noise to a minimum ‘quote - not using bongos’ however we were across from a large group of about 30 people including children who had music blasting and their kids screaming and shouting each night til past midnight despite being told numerous times from the host to keep it down. The issue wasn’t dealt with and for that we will not be returning to this site again.

It was lively on a busy weekend but it was nice to hear people enjoying themselves and there was no noise past curfew ☺️

Nothing. Very poorly managed a worst camping site.

No shower nearby. One toilet was out of order, which was never fixed. Only one was in working condition but dirty. Consequently, very long que in the morning. The pitch site was too noisy (music played by other campers too loud even until midnight). Noise of aeroplane ✈️ and helicopter 🚁 at night did not let us sleep well.

All round happy with everything!

Stayed for 2 nights at burrs manor wild camping. There was plenty of choice for space and each side of the field had it's own beautiful view of the surround areas. They provided simple toilet block and shower which was actually better than some hotels I have stayed in. Located a 5 min drive from Buxton with great links to surrounding walks. We were met by Colin and his pooches who gave us a good idea of the lay of the land and additional walks recommended.

Great location and we had a zone reserved for our group when we arrived. Hot shower and toilets serviced regularly. Great location for walks and runs - we walked to the pub in millers dale for pub food and ran to Buxton parkrun.
Great value for the price.
