Lovely site, close to town, self checking was easy.

A very quiet site, although next to a road, but there was no noise from it at night. The toilets & showers were clean & well equipped. Pitches were fairly level but plenty of space between them. Good position for a walk into Aberystwyth but be warned it's a steep hill on the way back. We will definitely be back to this site.

Although the toilets were clean there maybe should be a few more of them especially for a busy weekend. I think it's impersonal not to have a reception for someone to greet you. Apart from that nothing else to moan about.

Pleasant and quiet site. Pitchup spots were easy to find. The pitches are a bit all over and it’s the first time we’ve had to use a single ramp but apart from that it’s really quiet. Facilities are in a porta cabin but absolutely no problems and the showers were amazing!

Minimal signal and not allowed to use the WiFi made it hard to plan days out

We found all of the facilities in excellent condition. The site was easy to find and was central for trips we had organised.

Several people on the site had dogs and when walking them they were allowing their dogs to foul in the grass. When I asked one gentleman if he was going to pick it up, he told me to mind my own business. Maybe more and larger signage would be an idea.

Site was spotlessly clean. Pitch was a nice size. Toilets and showers were clean.Would recommend to others and would stay again.

No reception/ someone to tell you where to go etc. Did say on email find a pitch but would have prefered to meet and greet.No signs indicating mens/ womens toilets or showers or where to find fresh water taps.

Some quite loud spoken people and demented barking dogs from time to time.

At first was alittle confused as to where to park but having read reviews stating no staff around and that you just park up on pitches reserved for pitch up.com as long as nobody had left item keeping there pitch occupied everything else was superb 👌 toilets clean, showers clean, do be aware it’s men & women combined 🤷‍♀️just like being in France 🇫🇷 some people may not like that idea but we’re used to the French system! A nice walk into Aberystwyth good stretch of the legs 5.1/2 mile there so be prepared for between 11 & 12 ml our b/collie loved it, about 20 or 30 yards down the road then into the forest across to stretch’s of north shore you’ll find a turn style which takes you through a couple of fields to Aberystwyth golf club and straight into town, well sign posted. We booked for 3 nights but left a day early because the weather was turning so rather than stay in the rain decided to go and spend a couple of nights at Forest of Dean we weren’t disappointed. Convenience for local stores and buses.
Convenience for Aberystwyth itself.
Great pitches.

Though they must get it a lot, local stores and buses are reached by a short stretch of fairly busy road without pavement i.e. not ideal for opting to be a pedestrian.

Sign-posting for Pitch Up pitches isnt intuitive i.e. not clear/close on arrival to site e.g. you have to drive around on site and then look in right direction to see them.

Not alot

The lack of anybody/ information about local area. The porta cabins for toilets and showers. The notices insisting that pitch up tourers were not entitled to site WiFi and use of the swimming pool, even at an extra cost. The price for a bit of gravel and strip of grass. The walk to bus stop down a very fast, pavement less narrow lane boasting 12 fatalities so far this year.
