Beautiful location and view - surrounding mountains and countryside is amazing and very peaceful. Watching cormorants fly around Bird Rock mountain was a delight.
Fridge, freezer, microwave and kettle in the communal kitchen were very handy.

Limited number of showers (1 male, 1 female, 1 neutral, 1 disabled).
Disliked pay-by-machine system for shower / hot water.

Surrounding wildlife and the partial peace and quiet (some youngsters but not overly noisy apart from the sheep 😂).
Staff are friendly and helpful.

9 miles to the closest shops so a car is required.

Couldn't ask for better views from the campsite...lovely stream onsite ... toilet and showers are good . Would stay there again.. no WiFi or signal but not a bad thing

Lovely views of the mountain and plenty of walks to go on the children had an amazing time from start to finish. The river was lovely we all had a swim in it although it was cold the owner was very helpful and a very nice lady. Enjoyed the fact that it has no interest or phone signal as it made our family time much calmer

Toilet block a bit basic and outdated and you need to make sure you take all the food you are going to need as it's out of the way

The fact that the grass pich we were on got water logged and the tent pegs didnt go in very easy came home a day early.because the ground was just waterlogged everywhere and everything we had got soaked i understand its not the campsites fault not saying it is the campsite was very good its just the weather 🤷‍♀️

It was a great stay at Bird Rock Camping, I went with 5 friends and there was nothing at all to complain about. Very well priced campsite with a hot shower and toilet facilities.
We had an amazing stay here as the campsite seemed very chilled we played music and had a campfire and it was never an issue!
Would recommend the campsite to anyone and we will definitely be returning everything was perfect for our needs as a group of lads.
