The staff were so helpful and welcoming.
The location was great with amenities close at hand like buses, supermarkets etc.

Generous size camping pitches with trees and nice hedges dividing up the meadow well with mains hook up and well drained field- even with the 4 days of rain we had it wasn’t muddy or flooded. Very well kept grounds throughout the entire site. Swimming pool was very nice and the adjacent games room was fun with pool tables, air hockey, table tennis, table football and a TV lounge. Good size children’s playground and outdoor play areas. Bicycle parking points to lock a bike up at various points throughout the site
Very good toilet and shower facilities that were well maintained and clean.
Friendly and helpful staff on site.
Will definitely come again next year.

Both seem a bit too early to close especially if you’re out all day exploring- not really a negative.

I brought my son with our camper - only just finished after 3 yrs, we decided to have our first camping trip here at Ninham, Shanklin. We really enjoyed our stay. My son loved the pool and spent most of his time in there and the games room.
The bathrooms were so clean & comfortable.
The staff were very friendly. brilliant informative pack and map.
Carol was amazing, she cycled round to show us to our pitch and made us chuckle when she was faster than us! Working so hard gardening and other work with energy and enthusiasm. Thank you very much x

My husband, son and I stayed at 'The Orchard' in mid-August for 10 days booking a campervan spot. This campsite is beautifully kept, well maintained and spotlessly clean! The pitch was good sized and well spaced out.

We received a wonderful welcome from Brad and Diane. Information was clear and concise. The facilities were immaculate with a large modern toilet / shower block. The cleaners June and Dudley were fantastic, cleaning these facilities 3 times a day, absolutely spotless! I don't know how they do it! The showers were hot and we never had to queue. There were also separate sinks which were great!

The location is super, we only used our van twice in ten days as we didn't need to. Short Bridlepath from Ninham to Shanklin train station (20 - 25 min walk), which brings you out to the Aldi supermarket which was really handy on our way home to pick up our BBQ products.

There is a small pool on site, which we used on the first day which operates on a booking system.

Quiet time rules are in place to be observed from 9pm to 9am which most people on the whole did.

The surroundings are beautiful, well laid out and maintained.
All in all a fantastic, beautiful campsite!

The only one comment I would make is that once a week before 6am the refuse collection van comes which is quite noisy... but there is not much the owners could do about that. Obviously only affects those camped nearby.

One recommendation would be if it was possible to perhaps an hour a day make the swimming pool available just for an adult swim.

The camp site was lovely with so much to do from beautiful walks and bike rides to activities for the kids on site. They enjoyed the pool and badminton nuts and the lovely space to run around and be free with play equipment dotted about. The pitches were spacious and we were lucky to be next to the amenities which were very clean and always spaces. All were cleaned regularly twice if not 3x a day. The campsite is off the main road and close to morisons and the road to Sandown/Shanklin beach. I would definitely stay again.

The farmer liked an early start lol which the last 2 mornings was slightly annoying but not troublesome and obviously out if the owners hands.
I think there should be a sign for when the male cleaner was in attendance in the women's facilities.

Excelent camping site, friendly staff, facilities cleaned all the time, laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Drinking water around the site.
There is a swimming pool which we did not use as you have to book ahead, but it looked clean and could hear happy children noises.

Some pitches were quite far from facilities, but you can change if other available

Shower and toilet blocks were outstanding and cleaners did an amazing job daily. The pool was such a fabulous addition and loved the system of keeping the numbers low by booking slots. The site position is so lovely and quiet whilst being only a 5 min drive from Morissons.

the road from willow brook to the main camp site was very bumpy and needed filling in

Good clean campsite. Nice grounds. Clean toilets. Good size pitches.

Cold swimming pool, we only used swimming pool once and all got colds.

Hand dryer is very annoying, especially at night and if your tent close to the toilet block. Why do you need hand dryers on the camp site, if you are saving energy? Why people cannot use their towels to dry their hands every time they use toilet facilities ?

Some showers need to be checked regularly in female showers/toilet as in some of them water is going through a shower push button a lot, and not enough via shower head.

You cannot plug/use a several electrical items, even when you pay for electric hook up.

Lovely tidy campsite and well kept grounds , shower blocks and toilets modern and well kept , cleaner seen regularly cleaning all communal areas , arrival easy and friendly staff . Good layout and information on how to pitch in your area. Facilities good with tv room and games room , pool looked great although didn’t get a chance to use it .
