Such a beautiful getaway and so peaceful. Surrounded by nature which is amazing and completely left to our own devices - as close to wild camping as you can get and will definitely be back!

Stayed there for a 2nd weekend inna different pitch but still the same peace and tranquility was even nice in the rain although the fishing spot wasnt as good the kids felt like theyd gone to the beach.
We purchased a few logg packs too this time saved the hassle of wood collecting

The kids thought the fire wood was was one of the best parts of the last trip ( go figure ) but overall was what it said on the add wild

Plenty of space between pitches and lots of freedom to wander around.

The description on pitchup said pitches on the ‘forest floor’ but we weren’t in the woods as expected. We were in the open around one of the lakes.

This is a great site, nice big pitches and plenty of room between to really feel like you are alone.
He lakes are great and a few people there were using canoes etc which is a great addition.

The landscape is beautiful. The host is nice, polite and friendly.

You definitely will like it if you looking for a wild camp.

Sufficient privacy. Just do not forget to bring your WATER.

The only thing is the road from the entrance to the site was over grown and offroad.

It caused many scratches on my car. If you are driving Van, 4x4 or big SUV, then it is not an issue

Very peaceful and very much wild camping. If you have a lowered vehicle then it could be tricky in places. Owner is very friendly.

Nothing

The place is beautiful and secluded, you could camp in the woods or out near the lakes. The toilets were clean and had toilet roll. It was such a peaceful relaxing place to stay, and Alan was very helpful and friendly.

The only downside was the pitch we chose had a lot of what seemed like human faeces near the entrance into the water.

The pitch was great our own little woodland enclave right by the lake the fishing was excellent for the kids and they were hungry

Nothing was a really relaxing couple of days
