What customers say
This is a well-maintained and clean site with friendly, helpful staff and spacious, level pitches. Facilities, including showers and toilets, are consistently praised for their cleanliness. Its location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area, with convenient bus routes and nearby walking/cycling paths. Some guests noted traffic noise from the adjacent road and unreliable WiFi. A small cafe offers breakfast rolls and coffee.

Liked The campsite is in a great location. We found it quiet and peaceful. We had our 6 year old daughter and crazy Labrador with us. They both loved it. There’s a dog walking field and a lovely river walk / cycle path that goes in either direction, to Pentewan by the sea, or to St Austell.
The facilities are clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had coffee and pastries every day for breakfast, sold onsite. They were yummy!
Disliked Nothing! Some other reviews mention the road noise. We were on a pitch closest to the road and it wasn’t a problem for us. Yes, the campsite is next to a road. Yes, cars drive along the road. But we weren’t disturbed by this. It was the only thing that made me hesitate to book this campsite, but I’m so pleased that we went for it because we had a lovely relaxing stay here.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely site to stay on. Everything was kept nice and clean. Showers were hot and good pressure. Little shop on site and a cafe serving coffee, cakes and breakfast bagels in the morning. WiFi worked well too. Would stay here again.
Disliked Only thing is site is on a main road so traffic noise at night. But that isn’t the sites fault. Just something to be aware of.

Disliked The WiFi was awful. Especially if there was an emergency and no phone signal. Needs looking in to.

100% recommend.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Great customer service, very helpful and polite. The campsite was well kept, clean and tidy with a wonderful river running along side which was great for dog walking and a forest area too.
Very fair pricing with no extra charging for family dog and also no extra fees for the awning.
Disliked Close to the main road so a little noisy at times but so were all the other campsites along the same road.
The WiFi wasn’t brilliant but not a problem for us as we enjoyed the extra family time together with no mobile phones playing family games instead.
