Plenty of clean and tidy toilets/ showers etc.
Close to beach and 2 lovely pubs.No em va agradar: Could hear the main road in the distance.

Adequate size of the pitches
The provision of the kitchen area
Clean showersNo em va agradar: We paid more to be in the south field (as the north field was advertised as being noisy because it was near the road) but the south field was noisy too because of the trees and high winds. I didn't sleep a wink the first night.

I do say that the North Field can be noisy due to the proximity to the road, but as you said, you stayed in the South Field, so that was better as the Holiday Lets building does a good job absorbing any noise.

No em va agradar: The porta loos where not clean and some not working, the site was also quite messy with lots of weeds, the washing up area was very dated and untidy, very disappointed

sorry you did not like the wild flower areas and the dated washing up room, but at least the water was hot for washing up !
I do clean the porta loos every day and all were able to be pumped. They are emptied once a week.
I clean all of the facilities daily and yes they do become untidy until I arrive again - part of communual living I guess ?

No em va agradar: People who used the kitchen area to make a brew, smoke cigarettes and use all available sockets to charge every electrical item they own. People are obviously allowing their dogs off leads as my husband trod in a lovely pile of dog poo right where people walk to the loos. This would be the same lovely campers who took over the washing up/ kitchen area as their own, No fault of the site, just inconsiderate campers, although maybe re-enforce to dog owners about dogs on leads and clearing up after them. Also maybe no smoking signs in the washing up room

I am so sorry for the dog poos, I do ask all guests to keep their dogs on leads for this reason. I did actually talk to those guests about that and picked some up myself with them to demonstrate.
There are 3 non smoking signs around the wooden clad buildings housing the showers and washing up area, but I did not witness this myself, so difficult to manage if I do not know it is happening. You are always welcome to txt me to let me know if I need to walk by to happen upon any poor behaviour at the time as this is the best time to sort it out. No one need know it was you who told me !!
Smoking is not allowed inside any building in the UK anyway, so did not think I needed to out up signs inside the washing up room and mindful of too many signs about the place as that is not liked by guests either !

Dear Georgina,
I am sorry that you could not sleep as the wind and trees were so noisy, it was exceptionally windy on the Thursday and Friday night, much more than normal, and there are more trees around the edges of the South Field. Usually the Holiday Lets building absorbs any noise from the road, which is why I say that the South Field is quieter. The extra cost that you paid was actually for the electric hookups in the South Field as that is where they are located.
