Wall mounted heating pipes to dry things on.
Large upright fridge
Large upright freezer to refreeze cool blocks. (with icemaker!!)
Fresh farm eggs whenever the chickens oblige.
Delicious homebred sausages and burgers to buy.

The most lovely family run the farm, and we’re so patient with my 4 year old who had lots of questions about the animals and was keen to help. The piglets were adorable and the chickens fresh eggs in the morning were a real treat.
The site facilities are great - it’s a proper building with heating and plenty of nice big individual rooms with showers and loos. Fridge and freezer, washer and dryer all available to use and wood available for fires. We bought burgers and sausages from the pork on site. Fabulous.
A beautiful site with a walk available to the reservoir.No em va agradar: In the summer it’s possible that if the field is busy you might end up with a slopey pitch so be mindful of that when you pitch.

Thank you so much for your lovely review Georgia. It's great to see you all had a lovely time here. It's lovely to see children so eager to help out with feeding and take interest in the animals. The pictures you have shared are wonderful!
In the summer months, if it's slightly buisier we do open up an extra field for camping. This ensures that everyone still gets a nice spacious and relaxing camping experience whilst they are here. When we show guests around we can point out the best places to pitch your tent. Although there is a slight slope on the field, there are a few spots that are flatter and we are happy to show you where these are.
We hope to see you all again sometime in the future for some more farming fun!

Excellent shower facilities.
No em va agradar: The field only has a few level pitches and these are mainly at the top of the field, closest to the road which is very busy. Traffic noise was consistent all day and early evening but did stop at night.
I think it would be less noticeable if you were in one of the cabins which are further down the hill.

The showers were hot and huge (family sized!) and loads of loos. Logs and eggs available whenever you needed them. The washer and dryer and fridge freezer were so useful as we had every single type of weather you could think of. But still one of the best holidays we've been on.
