Nice little site. Can walk straight on to Ropley station and get on the steam train..

No electric hook up

Very nice little camp site next to the Steam Trains, facilities clean and well maintained.

Lights tripped in the bathrooms on the Saturday, the staff were good and offered us head torches and electrician was out following day so not going to mark them down for that.

Great location and good facilities for most people. Felt very safe and secure.

We paid for 2 double airbeds in our bell tent and one of them needed re inflating a number of times. It eventually went almost flat overnight, leaving my two children sleeping on the floor.

We were disappointed that the accessible shower was cold. We were doing a pre visit before hoping to come with our wheelchair dependent daughter. We were also sad that the automatic doors were not working.

Nice quiet field with a nice country view. Right next to a train station giving it a unique feel. Nice to hear the steam trains chuffing by. Camp facilities are kept clean (toilets, showers and wash up area). It’s a nice quiet and friendly place to stay and would highly recommend.

Unfortunately the weather upon arrival on the first day was very bad. It rained all night too making it difficult to sleep. But sadly the weather can’t be helped, however we stuck it out and enjoyed the rest of our time.
The shower was warm on the first day but cold on the second. I still used it none the less.

There was a large group staying in the quiet zone and by the toilets/bell tent
Extremely loud way past the curfew and just took over the campsite
We've stayed here before and loved it usually peaceful and see wildlife
But they completely ruined it unfortunately
Not the site itself fault but possibly need someone to come and check these large groups

The location is beautiful, we picked a really quiet weekend, there was only one other tent there the whole time! The facilities are clean and showers are hot. The grass is the perfect length. It was a shame the shop wasn’t open but I guess with barely anyone there it’s not worth opening and there are local shops and a garage very close by. We enjoyed a lovely weekend here.

The fox that plagued us every night while we sat around the camp fire. Nothing is safe so make sure you put absolutely everything inside your tent when you go to bed, even anti bacterial wipes are a tasty treat apparently.

The views were spectacular and the site in general is a lovely little spot.
The cleaner in the evenings did an absolutely fantastic job in cleaning the shower and toilet facilities considering she had a pretty tough job!!

That campsite users have to share toilet and shower facilities with the public. Makes it feel like you have to rush about early in the morning to get yourself washed etc. Also toilets became extremely busy and untidy at times. Also disliked that the public were able to access the campsite and have free reign to have picnics etc
