Amazing countryside view with sunsets, really helpful and friendly owner, good clean loos and showers, really lovely and peaceful during the week. Beautiful surrounding countryside and walks and other places of interest to visit.

Big industrial waste disposal place nearby, can’t see it from the campsite but if the wind blows from the east you can smell it, campsite much busier on the weekend so toilet and shower facilities were a little stretched at peak times, a fair amount of the pitches were quite sloped.

Stunning vistas, close to many places to explore. Great cider pub down the road.
Ed the Farmer is so helpful and available. Friendly campers. Excellent showers.

Toilet block could be a bit more loved. Sinks very small.
Sloping pitches may be vertiginous for some, though there are a few flatter ones.
Track down to the farm quite rough for little cars.

Washing up in the toilets! No hot water (for washing up or showers), not very clean in the toilet area and only 2 toilets.
The lane to the farm has A LOT of potholes so beware!
Pricey for very limited facilities but the view is worth it.

Lovely views, well kept pitches and Ed the friendly Farmer! Campsite was very peaceful and so picturesque and bonus of choosing our own pitch on arrival. We booked last minute and it was great for 1 night.

Hard to find initially, a sign at the turning is needed! Facilities are really basic and only 2 toilets, 2 portaloos and 2 showers for the size of campsite unfortunately.

Lovely, peaceful camp site with amazing views. The site is laid out in about 3 rows on a gentle hill so no matter where you pitch up, you get full view of the amazing scenery without other campers blocking the view or feeling like you are overlooking them too much.

Ed explained everything on arrival very well. You choose your own pitch on arrival, which is fantastic. The toilets and showers were nice and clean. While you can park your car on your pitch, there is also a car park at the entrance to the site too. I made use of this some nights to avoid getting stuck on the grass when it was wet and boggy as I only have a little hatchback.
Nothing seemed like too much trouble for Ed. He would come check on all campers everyday to make sure we were ok and for a chat, which is a lovely touch. He seems to really care about the place.

There's so much to do in the local area too that we couldn't fit into 4 nights, so we will definitely be using this site again in the future.

The driveway leading to the site is very uneven and rocky. For a little hatchback with low ground clearance you just have to take it slow.

And as its on a hill, some of the pitches are on a slope and some steeper than others. Nothing too dramatic but something to note. Didn't impact our stay.
