Lovely campsite with stunning views and spacious pitches. We brought our own fire pit, but you can also hire one on site and buy wood from Ed the farmer, who is incredibly helpful and friendly.

The toilet block and showers could do with updating but can’t really complain because they were kept very clean and tidy.

Lovely quiet spot. Lots of space - didn't see my 'neighbours'! Lovely views and sunset. Fresh water, Friendly welcome.

The porta-loos - that's an experience I will never forget - they were full and smelly! My pitch was on a slope - might be ok in a caravan but impossible in a tent - I kept rolling to one end in the night. The lower terraces looked flatter.

Fantastic price, Ed the host, clean facilities and a shower!!! Loved it. Each space had a picnic table, can hire a fire pit and buy wood which means you don’t have to take these things. Good size plot for tent and car. Great views. Plenty of places to visit not far way including Carsington water, Dovedale stepping stones. Thank you.

Fantastic location, Ed is super friendly and the facilities were excellent and clean. The views were great, didn’t have to take wood, fire pit as these were available for a small price.

Not sure how owners are getting away with charging £30 per night. 2 portaloos and 2 (only 1 working at the time we stayed) plumbed in toilets. Showers dirty, no hot water.. everything just very cheap and old.

Fire pits for hire. 2 porta-loos, toilet block with 2 toilets (1 out of order throughout our stay). Shower block with 2 working showers. Washing up facilities. Basic facilities but reflected in the value-for-money price.

Everything - great views, especially at sunset, flat pitches, clean toilet and shower facilities and option to hire a fire pit. The host Ed was so helpful and friendly. We can’t wait to stay again!

A wonderful back to nature camping site. Incredibly peaceful, magnificent views and an awesome and very friendly farmer Ed to welcome us and answer all our needs! You can have fire pits and there are 2 showers, good pot washing facilities, and a mix of portaloos and flushing toilets.

Ed was awesome and cares very much about his site, and wants everyone to have the best possible experience. We went with friends and we would definitely go back again. The pitches were very large and well spaced out, with four terraces and big grassy margins inbetween.

Nothing. Just be aware the terraces have a slight slope, it didn't bother us but take choc blocks if you're in a camper

I loved this place it was beautiful and the sheep were very vocal all day and all night, but once I got used to it, it did not disturb me. The owner lovely snd very friendly . Showers hot

Ed (the owner) is so friendly! We had the easiest check in experience, and we loved the naughty corner 🤣 the toilets are clean and for a campsite the showers are amazing!! Views were awesome, and we loved the fire pit in the evenings ❤️ thank you Ed for having us, we will be back :)
