Lovely view and great location. Fire pits free to use and the farmer sold wood and firefighters for the fire pits which were great.

We were very disappointed with the facilities especially for the price. Facilities are in a portacabin type building, with two working showers and two ‘ladies’ loos, the ‘men’s’ loos were two portaloos outside and one large cold water washing up sink also outside. Wasn’t an issue when we first arrived but at the weekend the campsite was quite full and so there were some queues for the showers etc. Also we were camping with two small children so the small shower cubicles were very difficult with them.

Location is fabulous and the view is worth an evening.
Fire pits provided, and the farmer, Ed is really friendly and supplied us with logs and kindling which did an evening, for £12.
The layout of the site is good and you can more or less go whereever you want to.

Toilets are poor. The gents are festival style portaloos and you need to take your own lighting. Provided you're happy to slum it, its ok.
Washing up location doesn't have hot water, although it's right next to showers which do have hot water.

Amazing campsite with unreal views. Plenty to do within short driving distance. Farmer Ed was very welcoming and helpful. Shower blocks and toilets were great and clean. Definitely coming back!

Great location, friendly family that own the farm, and very helpful. Plenty of lovely walks, particularly along the river. Some additional signage to the campsite and about the area would be good.

We liked everything. Perfectly adequate facilities that are kept clean. Ed the owner really adds to the experience, fantastic chap and made a brilliant weekend of camping even better. I wouldn't hesitate to book this again.

Pitch area comprises of 4 ‘terraces’ so each tent ends up being pitched next to a vehicle entry/exit way. Sloped pitches.

We nearly left on 1st night as group of 20 (4 tents , 5 cars) tried to squeeze in next to our pitch. The farmer explained to them they’d have to leave space for vehicle access . We only stayed after this as the group decided not to stay. Really surprised their booking had been accepted as there are signs in toilets saying they don’t accept groups. Seems to be a mismatch with signs and what they may accept.

This site has beautiful views. The owners are friendly and helpful. There are free hot showers. All campers were friendly and considerate. Would absolutely visit here again.

Great little campsite. Facilities are basic but there are toilets, showers and a pot washing are. The views are stunning!! Some of the pitches have a slope but it didn't really affect us. Farmer Ed is ace!!!

The road in is very bumpy but we were in a campervan and had no problems at all.
