Pitch was great lots of space

The rudeness of the lady in the office and setting up the tents. They were set up late with no apology. The sewage smell throughout most of the camp. The cleanliness of the bell tents was unacceptable with black spores covering all surfaces of the inside of the tent. Couldn’t use the fishing lake as it was closed for matches.

I was really worried about our visit here after seeing so many new reviews stating nothing but negative things about this place. However we had a wonderful stay here this bank holiday. The toilets next to our pitch were clean all the time which was a very big worry from seeing previous reviews. Yes the floor was wet and muddy due to the delightful rain but that can’t be manned every 5 seconds by staff however the toilets were always clean. The staff were friendly and there was so much for the kids to do they had so much fun. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you

Attitude of the staff member who wasn't in the office upon arrival and wasn't particularly welcoming when I called the site mobile to see if anyone was available to check me in. That set the tone for the stay. It felt like an inconvenience that I'd turned up and chased their whereabouts. A welcoming attitude costs nothing

The toilet block has seen better days. Usable, but cubicles are small.

The fishing lakes were nice so was the stonham barns bit with the bar, shops and golf.

Horrible sewage smell throughout the park. Toilets dirty, think they were only cleaned once the whole 3 days we were there. Showers were disgusting and cold. Rubbish everywhere and bins over flowing

Very large area to pitch on. Lots of facilities on site. Toilet blocks clean. Quiet and enjoyable space

Many issues with toilets across the weekend. From no water to leaking toilets.
Advertised as a campsite with fishing but on arrival found out we couldn't fish Friday or Sunday due to matches on the lakes. No prior notice when booking or an email before had. Had we had know this we would have gone else wear as that the main reason we chose here and we were only there thu-mon so only let Saturday for fishing.

The location is great for a family with children as there’s shops, crazy golf, and an excellent owl sanctuary.

The camp site is terrible. We’ve stayed in many camp sites all of similar price but Stonham was well below expected standard.
The site showers and toilets look worn out.
We stayed Saturday to Monday and on Sunday evening there was NO running water in either block, washing up area or the drinking water tap. Toilets couldn’t be flushed and showers obviously couldn’t be taken. Water came back on briefly before going off again. I would expect water especially when we’ve paid for a site with showers!! My husband has a stoma so we always stay at sites with toilets and showers but he came across a problem on Sunday without water to empty and clean up his stoma bag.
When the showers were on, they are lukewarm dribbles at best.
The whole camp smelt of sewerage and people were leaving early. There must be a blockage somewhere.
As for cleaning- the toilet and shower block was cleaned once in the time we were there so I would say this is unhygienic. I know it wasn’t cleaned because someone dropped a biscuit on the toilet block floor soon after we arrived and it was still there squashed and soggy by the time we left!
