Activities and local shops, good play area

Toilet, shower and washing up facilities were so bad, old (which is fine) but totally inadequate for such a big site, so dirty and kept flooding.

Plenty to do on site golf,car boot sale,crazy golf,football golf,Birds of Prey,fishing,shops.
We were allowed to pick our pitch which was nice as not too busy.

Shower and toilet areas near to the site office could do with cleaning and updating ,were very messy when we visited,washing up area was basic could do with updating too.
Wanted to fish on the old lake but couldn’t as there was a fishing match ,turns out there were fishing matches on the Sunday and Monday too,disappointing as this info should be made available as wouldn’t of visited if we had known this!!

Unmaintained and unmanaged site. We have stayed on sites with tired toilet and shower blocks before, but these were completely unmaintained and beyond cleaning. Not sure if they were cleaned, but think unlikely, as whole site was manned (part-time) by one, fairly immobile lady who was clearly struggling and blamed the customers for all that went wrong. In 9 years of caravanning this was the first time we chose to use our shower in the caravan! Leaky, waste pipe in one block the whole time we were there with water running across the floor. Soap dispensers empty, broken toilet seats, etc. Heard one lady say they were worse than poor public toilets. Also, whilst the site is large, the spacing between pitches is non existent, so can get very crowded.

It was a lovely vibe and the lady on reception was very welcoming. Lots of space and places to roam around.
There was a lot of activities to do as well!

On arrival, a little welcome guide was given to us. It’s a basic site with grassy areas for kids to play (these were really pitches that weren’t being utilized) as they’re encouraged not to be allowed to play next to or between pitches. Unique to this site is the easy access to the eclectic and varied Stonham Barns Village. We made use of the golf offering - playing adventure golf and footgolf at a discounted rate as we were going to play both in one day. All the golf areas look newer than the rest of the site. The toy shop was well stocked and Jellycat toys in abundance! There is something to treat the family to if you’re looking - ice creams from the Village Store or sweets from the Sweetshop.

The cleanliness of the toilet blocks is poor. It’s just not the day to day mopping but the general upkeep of the units - very cobwebby and broken floors. We know we’re camping but so many sites keep these areas clean. The cleanliness was poor in the units next to the reception and in the middle area. One night the water ran dry in the showers (you know, the time when you’d sucked up the fact that it was going to be a cold shower and you’d put shampoo on!) - not one shower worked so chose to walk up to the other unit - nothing there either- it was pretty abysmal that none of those had running water but neither did the sinks! Very very disappointed.

Lots of room, liked that it had a freezer to chill freezer blocks. Lots of amenities onsite, but a short walk from tent pitches which was nice. Nice little play park.

The toilet & shower block next to the reception clearly has sewage problems as the block looks to be leaking raw sewage, certainly smells like it. Needs fixing

It was a lovely site, the bell tent was great to stay in with electricity and heat as the nights do get cold, the shed next door was amazing with 2 ring gas hob and a cool box and all the kitchen utensils you need.

The showers do need an upgrade and the shower and toilet blocks need to be cleaned more.

The toilets were dirty, the water pressure for the showers was non existent. The water kept shutting off and the manager was not available to contact on the phone number provided. We were tightly packed with other campers and vans when there was a vast use of field available. Quite disappointed I'm afraid.

We've been a few times and it's been okay, but now seems very run down.
We loved the big pitches and space we had around us. Luckily up by a hedge.

Toilets leaked so much they over flowed at one stage. Luckily I brought a camping toilet with me so me and my kids could use that as no way was I going in there after seeing that.
Cleaned once during our stay wed-mon, cleaner cleaned toilets with same cloth on each toilet and then put the cloth on the radiator 🤦🏼‍♀️

Rubbish everywhere. Although wind prob didn't help.
We used to really like it here over the years. But we won't be returning unless they sort the toilet and shower issues out.
No running water one evening. I rang the number 6 times and voicemail was full so couldn't leave a message. I text in the end and still no maintenance people turned up.
It's really gone down hill which is really sad to see as it could be a really lovely site.
