A lovely time to go, very quiet and peaceful this time, almost had the site to ourselves. The lady who runs the site is very friendly, pleasant and helpful.

The drains and sewage smell is always there, don't why they can't get it sorted, there are open pipes running into the open ditch, it's awful and they always stink.
Such a shame as it spoils the stay.

Peacefully at the time we went, Sandra was absolutely fantastic and really helpful. Large pitches and had all facilities however, toilets and showers need a refurbishment.

Nice surroundings and we loved the access to fishing and the cafes/shops/bar. It was very quiet so we had plenty of space

The showers were freezing cold and the toilets were a bit dirty by the afternoon.

The facilities off of the pitches are great, but the pitches themselves could do with an injection of cash. And they need to enforce the 6 metre spacing for fire safety. Some idiot pitched a tent virtually on top of us. They need to get help for the poor woman that runs it on her own. The amount they charge for using the site, they can afford to.

Toilet and shower block is knackered. The site needs some proper made up roads through to the pitches.

I take my 18 year old son here regularly- in our motorhome. He has autism and a learning disability, the site is just the right size for him to have some freedom safely with lots of events (such as car and truck shows, wonderful shops, mini golf, boot sales etc) to keep him interested and tire him out! Staff are always very accommodating and friendly and do their upmost to meet any special requests. Love that we can bring the dog too. I can sometimes even get a little relaxation time myself!

Didn’t get a chance to stay to like anything!

Arrived but had been double booked. Took 2 weeks for full refund! Not impressed at all…

Stayed at stonham for three nights and took our grand daughter Pitched next to family who were also staying three nights .
The grandchildren loved the freedom of the fields riding their bikes etc.
Did some fishing with the grandchildren which they loved and actually caught a mix of bream and mirror carp. Onsite tackle shop , reasonably priced and the owner very patient and understanding of small children 👍

On arriving at the pitches , you are greeted by a fenced off area with stored dirty , mouldy caravans and motorhomes - most un attractive !
Showers and toilets are in need of refurbishment , black mould around ply wood painted shower bases. Toilets never looked clean the whole time we were there - the reception area toilets the floors were soaked around the urinals .
I could go on more on negative but we did have a memorable time . Don’t let this review put you off , it is just my opinion

The fields are very open. Whilst no one can control weather, it could do with some fences or hedges to break the field up and provide some protection on windy days.

Showers are hot, but could do with a little more water pressure.

We loved our stay in the bell tent at stonham barns . We usually take our own tent but wanted to take advantage of the tent and beds already being set up for us. The beds are surprisingly comfortable for blow up beds and a bonus is bedding is included!
Kids had a wonderful time and there's so much to do on site! Including a funfair, crazy golf and an owl sanctuary!

The cooking shed could do with having a electric fridge, even though your supplied with a cool box and ice packs, on a hot day it's much better to have a proper fridge!
