Lots of things to do on site foot golf, crazy golf, fishing, mini funfair and small play area. We chose not to use these as we were staying to attend a truck show.
No em va agradar: For what we paid for 1 night I felt we didn't get much for our money. Having stayed on cheaper campsites with much better facilities I feel they are a little overpriced. The legends bar was closed, so if we hadn't been there for an event in the show ground there wouldn't have been anywhere to go inside to warm up and grab food and drink.
The office was unmanned when we arrived, and no one was answering the phones which was frustrating as we just wanted to know if we were allocated a pitch or if we could just choose!
However, once the staff were back in the office they were very helpful, just seem understaffed.
Overall we would stay again, but for a visiting show rather that for the site in its own right.

Hello Tracey! Thank you for your review! The cafe unfortunately does shut at 4pm except for on special events. We do have Legends Bar that is open for evening entertainment and food. For full details of what they offer you can visit their facebook page

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: We stayed here a couple of weeks ago with our little boy in our caravan, when we got there the generators weren’t on but were soon sorted by the staff so we had the power at the post, everything you need is there. Little park for the little ones to play at, didn’t use the showers or toilet in the blocks so couldn’t comment. Outdoor pan wash area (needs a light over the sinks), sports bar, little village shop onsite with other shops. All dog friendly too.
Any issue were either sorted by staff or security on site.
Would return.

Hello, thank you for your review! We have spent the beginning of 2025 making improvements to our facilities so this should be a problem moving forward!
Hi Claire, thank you for your review. I understand your comments however we do have a cafe on site which is open 7 days a week if the Legends bar was not open. There is also like you say, plenty of other indoor activities available such as the Owl Sanctuary, Tearoom, fun fair etc.
We have had a change of staff and there will be an improvement this year with the facilities, the toilets and showers have currently already been revamped.
We hope you do visit us again and perhaps take a look around our retail village as there may be a few things you missed on your previous stay
