The location, the children enjoyed the crazy golf and shops in the shopping village. The bar was pleasant and had friendly staff.
The car boot on the Sunday was enjoyed by most of our party.
A plus having the Showground on site, as one reason we stayed the weekend we did was a classic car show on on the Sunday, which was very well attended (discount for those staying on the campsite would have been appreciated!).

THE TOILETS, SHOWERS AND THE BINS LET THE CAMPSITE DOWN
The toilets and shower blocks were not cleaned AT ALL during our 3 night stay. Not sure if they were cleaned thoroughly before we got there. The campsite was very busy being school holidays with lots of children (we were away with our daughter and son with their families. They were worse when we left and the smell on the Sunday night was disgusting of sewerage, almost unbearable, our pitches were not far away from the toilets.
The waste bins were a health hazard- they were over flowing by the time we left on Monday morning. They could make money by having a recycling bin for all the glass I would imagine.
Everywhere seemed a bit tired and needed a complete revamp, for the money they charged per night it was not good value.

Facilities, shops and bar

The site is fantastic, we didn't have enough time to use all of the facilities but what we did experience was great. The cafe is reasonable price, we chose not to dine there but some of our group did have breakfast and said it was delicious.

The check in was quick and very friendly staff; on site shop was well stocked and fairly priced.

The cleanliness of the toilet and shower facilities could have been better.... in fact they were quite disgusting. There is not enough facilties for the size of the site. There is one member of staff who checked in and dealt with all customers / done all the cleaning - maybe they could employ a cleaner for twice a day as it is too much work for one person!

The amount of green space in front of the tents

No in our heater in our tent sadly. Also description states that fairy lights are included and these are in none of the tents.

Toilet / shower block not the best but did the job for 2 nights.

Site had lots to do. Outlet village, circus nearby etc.

We didn't get the Bell tent we booked we were moved to a static caravan site on a different camp. We were very disappointed with this. We will not be booking again.

The site itself is a nice open field with a play area for the children, plenty to do with it being located on Stonham barns site with all of the shops, golf, sports bar and car boot.

However the toilet and shower facilities were disgusting. The poor women who checks you in in reception also cleans the shower/ toilet blocks so she is rushed off her feet. We stayed 2 nights Friday- Sunday and the toilets near the kids area where we stayed were not cleaned once. Some of the other guests decided to block sinks up with toilet roll, a lot of parents on our trip just let their kids run wild. Someone also poo'd in 2 of the showers!! They really need to employ a cleaner, if they invested in this cost then this would encourage people to return, but put off from visiting again due to the state of the toilets and showers.

Nice playground for the children featuring a train which was a great place for our son to make friends.
Toilets and showers were run down but clean and well stocked, which is the most important thing.

Being on the same site as the fairground and shops and owl sanctuary was brilliant as gives you something to do without driving out.

Shower head in the ladies too low and non adjustable meaning it was really difficult to wash hair.

The space and some of the entertainment was good

The lady that work there and accommodated everyone was extremely lovely, friendly and polite. It was a shame that she had to deal with complaints, customers and other things independently.

The lack of things for children to do on the pitch. There could have been a proper park.
There was no light over the park,so the children were not able to play till late and see-unsafe.

The showers looked and smelt like the toilet backed up into it. (Maybe it did) because I arrived on Friday,by Saturday the shower facilities was closed until further notice due to complaints. There was another shower however it was quite a distance.
