The touring shower/toilet block was disgusting. There are notices that people should flush the toilet and clean up after themselves but nearly every time I went in, the toilets were clogged up, there was no loo roll and there was excrement smeared on toilet seats. Not entirely the fault of the site but they could be checked and cleaned more regularly. From what I could see the toilets were only cleaned once a day and the toilet roll was only replenished at 5 pm at night despite being empty when I went in at 9 am. Some sinks were taped off (apparently to fix mouldy silicone so that might be improved). Showers had black mould on silicon. Use the loos in the entertainment complex instead, they are clean and modern.
Site was very noisy at night so not ideal if you are a light sleeper, lots of seagulls (site can't do anything about that). Drunk idiots singing and screaming coming back from the entertainment complex in the early hours (shuts at 1 am on weekends), bin lorry emptying bins at 20 past 7 on the Monday morning etc. Again, not a lot the site can do to rectify these things, but if you are a light sleeper, you might want to consider a different site.
Entertainment complex could ideally have done with a second bar, there was always a long queue, we stood for more than 20 minutes each time to get served, once for a drink, second time to order food. That was at 5 pm, before it even got busy. If you want a seat inside, get there before 6 pm. We left before 7 pm so it may quieten down later in the night.
There is no drive over grey waste disposal for Motorhomes that we could find (nothing on site map or that we could see at toilet block). There is grey waste disposal if you have a container to empty into.
