Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: Gorgeous views, direct access to the beach and a gorgeous scenic coastal path. Lovely soft sandy and dog friendly beach. Toilet and shower facilities nice and clean and showers nice and warm. Ground level and easy to pitch on. Staff all super friendly. Several walks to either beach, scenery with caves and rocks , forest or waterfalls directly from the site.
On site shop full of treats and kids beach's toys etc and 3min drive to a London local well stocked. 20 minute drive to tesco at castle Douglas or aldi 35min drive at dumfries.No em va agradar: The children's "play area" was just an empty field. When description said play area I made an assumption would be playground equipment and didn't specifically check.
Being picky here.... but the tide comes in and out VERY fast. You have about 1.5 hours to paddle in the sea. After that the tide goes out so far its not feasible to walk to it. What's left behind after tide goes out is a hard sandy mud (which gets quite soggy in areas and I did get stuck on one of our outings). There is still a good sized stretch of soft sand to play in which is lovely.
