Beautiful views 😍 Hundred of rabbits running around kids loved it 🐰

An excellent little campsite where I spent two nights in July with my two children. Good grass pitches for tents, shower block and washing up facilities kept spotless and friendly staff in the site shop. When we went it was a quiet and peaceful site with the beach thirty metres from our tent door. There is a Londis a few miles down the road.

The beach is lovely with large sandy areas but don't expect much swimming, it is a tidal estuary so the water is not very deep, good for paddling though. Some lovely little sandy coves a short walk along the beach. We spent two days just exploring the beach and the rocks - my daughter did not want to go. Great views across Solway Firth to the Lake District.

When we were there, there weren't any of the dreaded Scottish midges although a few came out at around 10 pm. Could happily spend a week here just relaxing and would definitely return in the future.

Fantastic location right on the beach front with a helpful and relaxed site manager. You'll need to keep an eye on you dog if they have a tendency to run after rabbits as they are many on the site. Facilities are app up to scratch. Great base to enjoy the coastal areas and walks.
Phone signal on Three and EE was none existing.

Beautiful quiet location.Well maintained access roads and pitches. Spacious clean showers and toilets. Nice big clean laundry room. Sheltered area for washing up. Lots of rabbits for entertainment if you ever got bored of the magnificent view of the Solway from the tent !

Not a dislike, more of a suggestion. Perhaps another toilet and shower room at the other end of the site would be something to plan in for the future.

Absolutely loved everything! Unbelievable views, amazing walks, beautiful campsite, spotless toilets that were cleaned everyday, great customer service and very friendly staff, very excited to book our next holiday here.
