Dissatisfied in certain aspects!

Few problems on arriving for our first visit! Dark! Raining! Nobody can help the weather. Regarding the instructions on arrival was terrible, the info we was given go to check in was not clearly given! We turned into the arrival car park which was clearly marked but car park was a dead end so had to try and reverse out with stupid idiots not giving way to our intentions for reversing back out again! No one explained we should pull up on side of the road entrance and block the narrow road way entering? The car drivers didn’t give way one iota, eventually one older gentleman could read what we was trying to do. Reversing in the dark and rain not seeing anything behind you could of been a disaster for some one! Luckily l can drive!!! Suggestion? Why not widen the entrance driveway with an hard core strip so visiting caravan can pull over and park to check in? So they don’t park on grass verge and get stuck ruining your lovely located site.

Overall a good stay but there are issues

Having now read other critical reviews I would say my main dislike is... the same negative points seemed to have been raised, over some time, and have received no response and remaining unchanged. Leaves the impression that they just don't care?

Clean well maintained site and facilities

Good, clean and modern facilities; probably the best of this type of park we have been to.

Basically there are some disappointing issues concerning touring caravans. Firstly, given that the site is so large the signage is pretty sparse and poor; always passing people who are lost. I would suggest you pay a guy with a line painting machine to paint some follow the coloured line marks; as used in hospitals.

We arrived with a caravan in tow and guided by a sign through a car park to reception. If the car bays are on the full side, which they were, the only way to get out is to revers some distance with cars on each side! A sign telling you not to use this car park with a caravan in tow would have saved a lot of stress. There was a sign for a touring caravan reception, but this seemed to not exist as we wasted 15minutes looking for it and after two days on site never materialised?

Also the waste water disposal point we used was over 12” high which means you have to lift your full waste water container, our standard container is 75 litres, that’s 75kg, to be lifted by I would guess a good few elderly campers.

There was also booming music and loudspeaker noise late in to the night, although this didn’t really bother us as we were at the far corner of the touring site.

Facilities and location

Poor signage to check in.

We liked the size of the touring pitch, it was nice and level. It was so peaceful & quiet. The staff were friendly. The drinks at the bar were reasonably priced. Would have to visit next time during peak season.

The only thing we’d say would be street lighting. Some area were dark and you couldn’t see the road as the lights wasn’t working. Due to this we didn’t see a dip in the road and jerked our backs.

Well presented site, very clean. Very good animation team and friendly staff. Good walk to the beach.
