No parking at check in, toilet block not very well kept and was flooded when we arrived, amusement arcade had plenty .achieves however more than 50% of them were not working, the change machines were broken, the ticket machines didn't work so the attendant had to count every single ticket which took ages given the amount of people, food was OK but not worth the money.

Not enough staff, a-bit scruffy and untidy, not much turn around to get the vans on and off

Couldn’t fault our Easter Weekend Break at Sand Le Mere! We stayed in a caravan, which was immaculate, warm and spacious. It was ideally located just a very short stroll from the main activities, restaurant, bar, park & swimming centre.
The food on site was great, especially the hand stretched pizzas made in the pizza oven and the prices were reasonable too.
The kids loved the mini disco and the entertainment for the adults was great too.
Can’t wait to go back again!

Only tiny criticism is the Wi-Fi connection around the site, it was very hit & miss and it made it difficult to contact each other when we weren’t together.

Clean, spacious, modern, good location.

Only negative is there was only 1 male toilet in use in the showering block.

Reception staff very helpful, ground staff who clean the site friendly and helpful. Toilet/shower block clean and plenty to do on the site with indoor swimming pool amusements, bingo and the site club.
Partner enjoyed the fishing lake too

No where to park for our two berth touring caravan when checking in and out of the site and the reception is not near the entrance/exit, there is a car park but due to parked cars you do not have the room to turn around with your touring caravan.

The site is larger than I have normally stayed on and as it was later in the season and during school time, was relatively quiet. I love how close it is to the coast as I enjoy sea fishing and was within walking distance of the beach. Amenities were clean and spacious.

We did ask to be closer to the toilet block but this couldn’t be arranged. As the site was quiet, we were located right behind the entertainment building which was still very loud on a night. When checking in, staff weren’t overly helpful but apart from that, nothing major to complain about.

Not enough adequate lighting or toilet facilities close to pitches

Not much.

When we arrived we were not told which pitch we were allocated, even though we should have been told apparently. We went to reception and was greeted by disinterested staff. We made that visit twice before someone actually told us what pitch we were allocated to but the pitch was right under trees and it was pouring with rain so you know what that sounds like, plus we were close to the entertainment area so it was noisy.
Also, at the time of booking, I asked to be closer to the shower block so they did the exact opposite and placed us quite away from it even though there were quite a few empty pitches.
We left the next day and vowed never to return so obviously lost 3 days of site fees.

Dog poo bins

Reception staff were very rude ; the staff not helpful, staff buggies traveling faster than 10mph speed limit.Very noisy, booming music late at night no access to toilet facilities, no footpaths, dogs not on leads around the site.
No parking for motor homes in the reception area , reception not sign posted enough.
We were booked in a premium hard standing but when I reached the pitch it was not premium I called reception and was told in a very rude manner that I was electric only I informed her that my email confirmation was premium I was then told to go to reception to show her.
We walked to reception in heavy rain as we didn’t want to drive around a site that we had never been to before that have very poor road signs.
In reception the staff informed me that the error had been made by pitchup. We were offered two nights on a premium pitch and the third night we had to move to an electric only pitch and get a refund!!
We decided to stay as we had traveled for 3 hours and the trip was to celebrate my partners birthday, The day we arrived it was very wet and windy, we put up our awning and wind break (due to booking error by whom ever) we wasted over one hour trying to find the reception and moving plots “ if we had reached the correct pitch at the start we would have missed the worse of the rain
On the Saturday morning we had to take down a wet awning and windbreak place inside the motor home and move to another pitch .
Saturday was my partners birthday so not a very good start to her celebration, as we had to put the awning and windbreak up, I had planned to get a taxi to Withensea and take her for birthday breakfast and day out “ the move ruined the day”
On the Saturday night as we were walking around, the pitch we had been on originally was still empty and as we left the park this morning it was still empty (why was our holiday ruined)? Pitch 8 empty space Saturday night “see picture”
Water waste bins too high also not enclosed “on one of the only footpaths on site”
Shop very over priced
Friday morning sounded like we were on s building site all morning
A full refund should have been given

Lovely swimming pool with sauna and steam room… showers were poor though. Touring toilet block could do with updating. Nice club room decent food and decent service. Overall a good clean site with good facilities and well run.

Main gripe… is …Rude and un welcoming staff on main reception. Could do with learning some people skills.

All other staff we met were friendly and helpful. Noisy pitches for the touring as music could be heard quite late from the club and shows. Uneven hardstanding pitches in places.
