No em va agradar: Surprised wheely bins always full during 9 night stay despite being put out for emptying, toilet block in desperate need of refurbishment, showers did not drain well and water "flooded" back to dressing area, hedges quite overgrown obstructing pathways and access to toilet block

Good, clean facilities.
Appreciated the 'closed' road to safely give our dog an off-lead run.
Enjoyed a lovely walk from the site to Polstead village, where had a coffee at the community shop and a friendly chat with the volunteer on duty.
Also had a quality meal at The Crown in Nayland.No em va agradar: We were aware of road noise but gradually became accustomed to it.
We were disappointed and concerned at the lack of recycling provision.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a great review with such good detail. We really appreciate it and hope you'll visit again in the not too distant future. We do explain to all guests on arrival that they don't have to separate recycling as our contractor Veolia does it all for us at their depot and anything that can't be recycled goes into green energy.

Thanks so much for taking time to leave a review Colin and we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We did stock a lot more fresh produce last Summer but unfortunately most of it ended up being thrown away as hardly anyone bought it. We do still stock a few basics and essentials like Ice Creams :-)
