Spacious pitches, excellent clean facilities, relaxed stay, not bothered by site owners, shop, plenty of places to visit nearby.

Nothing major, there was some road noise but not enough to bother us as we live on the edge of a busy city so used to distant road noise. Also the barrier was locked at 11pm at night which meant we had to make sure we were back in time.

Site is just lovely, clean, quiet and well managed in beautiful surroundings. Our 4th stay here in 3 different seasons and it won’t be our last. Ideally suited for walking and cycling direct from the site with plenty of footpaths, quiet roads and delightful villages; and travelling further afield by bus if you don’t want to take your camping unit, eg Lavenham, Long Milford, Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Sutton Hoo etc. And with 2 pubs in easy walking distance for evening meals (but not Mondays), and very many more for lunch if walking/cycling and for dinner too if you don’t mind a short drive, what’s not to like!

Lovely quiet site. Shower / Toilet block was very clean and if a high standard. We were greeted at the entrance by the warden who explained the site to us. Decent pitch size for our camper van and full awning, with room to spare. Will be returning.

Very accommodating. Plenty of space on the pitch. Everyone was respectful. Really admired that it was an adult-only campsite. Plenty of activities in surrounding areas. It was very well kept and clean.

Unfortunately one morning there was no hot water so washing up and showers were just a bit cold.

Difficult to navigate the final few hundred yards to site using a sat nav.

The site was perfect. Facilities modern and clean, the staff very helpful and pitches large enough. We had a late check in, but the team were very helpful in emailing us instructions on where to find our pitch information. There’s lots of walks to do nearby, and some great pubs around. There’s also a pick your own flowers site nearby at Dedham Vale Flower Company which is a 10 minute walk away. WiFi on site available, was better than using 4g on phone!
