I even spotted them being cleaned at 11pm! Staff were amazing, super helpful and so happy. Had an absolute blast staying and can not wait to come back. Never seen a fire pit so big either, it was a monster pit! Cant recommend this place enough, just go!!!

Friendly staff and easy check in
Excellent woodland and lake walks
Didn't have children with us but there's an excellent park and play area

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: Fantastic site with amazing facilities - we were met by the warden and checked in very quickly - pitch information was excellent and we were soon set up on our designated pitch (16) which was virtually opposite the new toilet block on the second row back .
The site has a large area to explore into the woods and around the fishing pond which was ideal to exercise our dogs , if you have children there is a really nice play area to keep them occupied while you chill on the benches nearby .
The new toilet and shower block had just opened when we visited , and is honestly one of the nicest we’ve had the pleasure of using in the many years that we’ve been camping .
Finally the warden was brilliant - nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her , she always had a cheery smile on her face accompanied by a warm greeting whenever you saw her which is always a positive for me .
We’ll definitely be visiting again .

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: This place is beautiful we stayed in the tent field with our caravan and enjoyed having it mostly to ourselves which we where glad of as the electric pitches sempt very full and extremely close together, the field was flat and dry with great views, we enjoyed the wood land walks, there was green people hidden in the trees and totally enjoyed looking for them, fantastic idea for adults and kids, the staff was very friendly and spoke every time she saw you, would definaly come back at the beginning or back end of the season.
No em va agradar: No water tap or toilets in our field.

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: Super friendly and helpful staff (Georgina) who went above and beyond to arrange a fire pit for us and Easter egg hunt.
The site has incredible toilets/showers/chemical waste disposal etc (newly built by the look of it).
The site has multiple lakes and you can fish there. The field we camped in with our campervan was quiet and sheltered by trees all along the edge so guessing in high winds this might be of benefit.
Pub isn’t far- few minutes drive away.
Nature trail on the site- through forest was amazing.
It’s a well looked after site- has a nice playground
Feels nice and safe for young kids to camp there.
Will be great in the summer for a holiday too- we stayed for one sunny day in Easter which was brilliant.
Will return most likely, we do like to try different locations but once you find a site you are so impressed with- it’s likely we will return.No em va agradar: Nothing
