Friendly people and the cider barn was very cool, lush cider and really good street food, it was curry when we stayed - amazing! But they change it up every week, sometimes pizza, sometimes tacos, etc. really nice to have that on site, it all felt very friendly, local, welcoming and warm. The best part though has to be Raleigh the dog, such a lovely natured good boy, very happy to have met him, such a character!

Had the pleasure of seeing the "hacky racers". Cherry on the top of the cake was meeting Raleigh the springer, gorgeous boy

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: Beautiful site in the heart of Somerset. The Bell tent field was perfect for a group of friends celebrating a big birthday. Inside the tents were lovely with double beds, table & chairs, electric kettle and airbeds provided for kids. Very convenient being able to charge phones from the extension cable.
We also hired the Cider Barn with cutlery & crockery for the evening celebration which seated 50 people banquet style.
No em va agradar: There are 3 showers but only 1 composting toilet in the bell tent field (5 tents). The toilet was pretty full & a bit smelly by the end of the weekend.
You could feel the springs in the mattress on the bed in our tent. Thankfully we’d brought an extra blanket which we ended up sleeping on to make it more comfortable.

Thank you for your feedback. In future we will ensure that the toilets are checked more regularly at busy weekends and serviced in good time. Having checked all the mattresses today, I found one that definitely needs replacing - thank you for bringing this to my attention and apologies for the uncomfortable night.
