Place is very clean and peaceful plus the beach is just a few minute walk away.

Amazing location right next to a really beautiful beach (St Helen’s).

Spacious tent pitches.

Great pool and entertainment for kids.

Our tent pitch (TA) was really lumpy, gravelly and uneven compared to all the other lovely grass pitches. Also right next to the bins with rats in.

The toilet and shower block were not well maintained over the bank holiday weekend. My husband and I saw the male cleaner twice, but no cleaning products were used. He simply swept the showers and removed toilet roll from the floor. All the toilets, sink units and showers needed a proper deep clean. It was unpleasant.

The showers and washing up facilities had no hot water which was really impractical for camping!

Reported these issues to reception team, but was told they would get passed on. No real concern or immediacy to resolve shown.

Such a disappointment. Felt like the focus is really on the chalets and safari camping, not the campers.

Cleanliness. Friendliness of staff.

Lack of hooks in showers. One hook is never enough.
No freezer to freeze ice blocks for our cool box . There is plenty of room for a couple of freezer. Could do with better dairy free options in the restaurant.
No one adhering to low noise late at night.
Shouting and swearing (From other tents) until one in the morning.

Loved that it was eight next to the beach, the children enjoyed crabbing in the rock pools.

Location is great. Nice and close to the cycle ways and easy to carry the paddle board to the beach.
Pitches are a nice size, the Shower block very clean and in good condition. Extra nice with the under floor heating.
Restaurant and bar serving good food and a fair choice of beers.

While you cannot control the weather our pitch was waterlogged, manageable but awning and ground sheets very muddy when put away, needed a short tow off the grass as vehicle was going to dig in. Although this would not deter us from coming again.

Purchased the larger pitch with all the amenities. Lots of space and great location. Wash block was always clean even though it was muddy on the pitches. Gave us runners on turn up so our van didn’t get stuck.

Our pitch easily got waterlogged.

The environment is quiet and relax, nice to have restaurant and supermarket in less than 10mins distance.
