1. Vague signage as you approach the touring area, you must report to reception but you cannot proceed in that direction as signage demands a right turn. It would be better if the sign advised to make the right turn, then park on the left hand side and take a short walk to reception. I have limited mobility, I cannot risk committing myself to a walk of unknown length especially if it turns out to be uphill.
2. Due to my mobility issues, I requested when booking that I could be close to the toilet and shower block, this request was totally ignored, pitch 9 was allocated which is pretty much mid way between the two available amenity blocks.
3. On arrival at pitch 9 I was disappionted at how muddy it was, being at the lowest part of a shallow valley. After asking if everything was OK a most helpful member of staff returned to reception to organise a move for me, I ended up on pitch 13 which was more suitable and much closer to the showers. I stayed for 3 nights, there were plenty of spare pitches, why wasn't I put there in the first place.
4. Although it did not affect me, a point of note is that many of the fully serviced pitches require your waste water to run uphill!!
5. Reading reviews from earlier in the tear some comments suggested the shower water temperature was too high, it must have been adjusted as it is now not much hotter than luke warm.
I intend for my criticism to be constructive, we are approaching the end of the season, I am not surprised at some of the 'lack of attention to detail', it is a shame, a few small changes could turn a good break into a great one.
