there is a lovely little shop stocked with things you might forget right up to your airbed! We went no ehu but brought my electric air beds with me, they blew them up at the shop then deflated them without any fuss!
There is a lovely playground for the kiddies and plenty of room for everyone
There are farm animals around and some lovely walks, the camping fields are very well kept and the owners are very friendly and the couple that run the shop are really lovely peopleNo em va agradar: The blooming wasps! We went into Matlock bath and they were suffering from them too!
The camp does have traps up everywhere but there just no stopping them!

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: Big tent pitches, clean toilets and showers, big playground for children. There is a camp shop, ice creams and they made fresh pizza on afternoon. It is nice place to have brake and spend time with family.

Plenty toilets (£1 for 5 minutes shower) though was a very busy site.
Pizza available onsite in the evenings which I thought was good. A few takeaways offer to deliver to the site.No em va agradar: Dogs have to be on leads all the time. There is a brewery which is a walk through fields from the back of the site, but you'll struggle to get an old dog over the gates.
Site itself needs more trees planting as very little shade and was very hot when we stayed.
If you're walking and leaving the site, there's only a cattle grid so difficult to get a dog over there. There is a pub a short walk away, though no path on the road so potentially quite perilous.

The site was lovely, Staff extremely friendly and suggested we went to try the bar at the next farm, which was a lovely addition to the stay. Toilets and shower area were clean and tidy. Pizza hut was a hit. Will definitely stay again and already recommended to friends

Hi, Thanks for your review. Yes of course dogs have to be on leads at all times, firstly you are staying on a farm, there is livestock around, plus my hens as it is their home as well as mine, and then we would have dogs shitting everywhere ! Can you imagine how it would be with dogs roaming round everywhere ?? There is a stile to walk over to get to the brewery, we cant put anything else in as the sheep would climb over it, the same as at the bottom of the drive, but again you are staying on a farm ! We wont be planting any trees as they would take away the stunning views that surround the campsite.
