Regarding the water pressure in the showers, we completely understand how frustrating that can be. Unfortunately, the issue stems from an external supply problem with Southern Water, which is currently beyond our control. We are, however, in regular contact with them and continuing to push for improvements.

There was a slight mix up with the booking so we weren’t originally in the same field but the reception sorted it so we could be. The soft play and playground were great and the bar/restaurant had a good variety of food and drinks.
No em va agradar: There was an awful smell of sewage around parts of the campsite, someone said it was a bog in the woods. However, it smelt distinctly like a burst or overflowing septic tank. Pretty off putting when you’re eating outside. The electricity was hit and miss on some of my friends hook ups too, although the campsite did sort that out for them by running the electricity from elsewhere. The whole campsite could do with a bit of updating, parts looked a bit tired and grubby.

We’re sorry to hear about the unpleasant smell you experienced. We can assure you that there were no issues with overflowing septic tanks on site. The smell is most likely coming from the dried-out lake nearby, which can sometimes produce an unpleasant odor depending on weather conditions.
Regarding the electricity, some guests do occasionally experience fluctuations, often due to high usage from bringing multiple high-power appliances. We’re glad our team was able to resolve the issue by providing alternative power sources.
We appreciate your feedback about the appearance of the site. We’re continually working on maintenance and upgrades to improve the experience for all our guests.

Our son did quad biking too which he enjoyed.

The push-button system is currently in place to help with water conservation, but we understand that manual taps are often preferred for ease of use.
