Relaxed site, paddle boarding followed by bbq, beer and fire.

Clean facilities, lots of space and close to village pub. Lake was lovely and had an amazing cinnamon roll and coffee in the cafe!

Would have been useful to have the cafe menu on Facebook or website as we were unsure what food to bring with us or what we might be able to get for breakfast or lunch.

Loved the lake, the flat pitches, the friendly and relaxed vibe, the swallows (or were they swifts?) diving in and out of the corn field, flowers in the toilets, good showers.

Location is lovely. Lake is perfect for a quick dip and lovely pub a short walk away.

Toilets and showers are very basic and could benefit from a few more..

Beautiful area, local pub less than 5 minutes away that served gluten free options! The lake, cafe, were an awesome extra to the site. We got to choose our pitch. The lady was helpful who signed us in, in what side of the field was shady. (We went the hottest weekend of the year which happened to be September! Got to love the British weather!)
Toilets and showers kept very clean.

There were only 2 toilets and 2 showers at the end of the field we were at. The other end I was told on arrival was 1 toilet in the shed! 😂 That’s how the lady explained it. On Saturday the site got busier so I felt this was not enough toilets for the amount of campers. I roughly counted how many were on site and it wasn’t up to its full capacity either.
Young children screaming and shouting gone past 10pm. (I didn’t hear as I had my noise cancelling headphones on 😂 but my friend did.) We both have been camping when we were young and were taught after 9pm to be quiet and respect the other campers.

Flat pitch, not too busy or noisy. Good washing up area.

Only 3 toilets for whole campsite meaning queues. Toilets and showers not that clean.

Really nice campsite, very friendly people and had lots of fun on the lake. Pitches were a good size and facilities were always clean.

We booked to stay for 2 nights but due to the weather we only stayed for 1.
Even so we had a brilliant time. I am a single parent and brought 2 boys with me. They spent a great deal of time on the lake which was great fun.
The cafe was so lovely with amazing milkshakes, coffee and the food looked delicious.
it would be amazing if one night a week you did pizza while the kids and adults had fun on the lake so you don't have to cook or get changed to walk to the pub. Just an idea for your business and families to enjoy.

The sight is really lovely and peaceful and everyone is very friendly.

It is special to be able to have an open fire.

We will be back soon and hopefully stay for a few nights this time.

Would it be possible to put some extra hooks in the showers so things don't get wet on the floor.
the wood we bought from you did smoke a lot so went to get more from the shop the next day.
