Pool looked lovely and clean and well maintained although we did not use.
Check in was simple and sites were spacious.
Shops and pub within walking distance.
Quiet no road noise.No em va agradar: Waterlogged site. The car park to the play area seems a much better site and campers could watch children play without the kids feeling restricted.
The toilets were spotlessly clean, bit too far away from site. Again move the site and this would solve it with maybe a gate to the toilet facilities from behind, without having to go through the swimming pool reception?

No em va agradar: Pot washing facilities were in a poor condition and not clean. On 3 occasions we had to clean out the sinks before we could use them.

No em va agradar: Nothing, the toilets are a 3-4 minute walk up the track to the pool (scary in the dark!) but managed
Recommended. This isn’t a typical campsite but we loved it.

Loved the playground for the kids and football pitch. Pool was great (albeit a little colder than we could handle for more than an hour).
Staff (especially Stuart) were really friendly and helpfulNo em va agradar: Not so much a dislike more of a suggestion
Either include pool in the price or discount it.
Would be great to have fire wood available to buy at the shop.
Anyway of having a washing machine would have been helpful.
Great spot but be aware of other campers ignoring rules.

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: Took my 11 year old granddaughter for her first camping trip. We absolutely had an amazing time at this site, it was so much fun. The atmosphere was great on the campsite, the people we met were very friendly and sociable, both the pool and play ground were great for the kid and adults! We had a very relaxed, enjoyable stay. Great base from which to explore Keswick and Penrith.

The wash-up stand is cleaned to a high standard twice a day, but we cannot be around all the time. Occasionally other campers will leave the sinks in a less-than-adequate condition.
