The campsite area was well kept & tidy. Pitches quite close together but ok. The staff were all friendly and helpful in all areas. The restaurant food was a decent standard. Activities were all booked up online before we even arrived but we did always manage to get a walk-in at the swimming pool. But crazy golf etc available. Nice beach. Good location with plenty to do in the area.

The toilet/shower block needs updating and the hot water runs out. It is also quite a walk from the camping area and set nearer the static caravans that don't need it, so really feel an additional block needs to be provided in the camping area. The wait/queue in the restaurant could be lengthy so must be worse on the weekends, but the staff do their best.

Not much to do there! Evening entertainment wasn’t great. Swimming was always fully booked

There doesn’t seem to be a restriction on when people can enter the site and pitch up. We had a very noisy car (with a loud exhaust) turn up on site at 11pm. They couldn’t find where they were going as it was so dark, so they basically woke up the whole campsite. We were just glad they didn’t pitch up next to us as they would have kept us awake for longer!

If you have young children - take a foot stall with you to the shower block. My youngest (aged 5) couldn’t reach the sink, so brushing her teeth was a very difficult task indeed!

The showers are old and you have nowhere to put your stuff other than a couple of hooks hidden behind a shower curtain.

The site was clean and it was easy to get to the beach. Staff friendly. Lovely to have use of a pool.

I was put under a huge willow tree which stopped the sun. It need cutting back.
Shower block a bit dull and no hot water.

The seagulls!!! There are loads of them and they are so loud from about 6am. They woke us up so early each morning.

Liked the idea of camping by the river, no river just a ditch of water

Showers and toilets not good at all, smelly and cold water regardless of time of day or night.
