No em va agradar: Unfortunately I chose to go over the August bank holiday weekend and the site was absolutely ‘rammed’ so, instead of the sweeping cliff top sea views I was expecting, we were directed to the very busy overflow field at the bottom of the site which was a good distance away from the main toilet blocks/ showers and other facilities. Temporary toilets placed in the field but many didn’t work properly.
Thank you for your feedback. Your booking was for the overflow field, which is clearly shown on our website with photos of the pitches and without sea views. The overflow field is only used at peak times such as bank holidays, with temporary toilets provided alongside the main blocks. For future stays we’d recommend booking earlier if you’d like a pitch in the main field with sea views. We’re pleased you enjoyed the location and facilities overall and hope to welcome you again.
I would definitely attend again. The staff were friendly.

No em va agradar: The portaloos had no water for washing hands and were often out of toilet roll. The toilet blocks also ran out of paper a lot even though I know the site team did drive around in the mornings to refill. I wonder whether a spare needs leaving in each cubicle?

Our staff check and restock toilet paper regularly, but your suggestion about leaving a spare in each cubicle is very helpful and we’ll look into it for next year. Swimming pool was over crowded and was no limit on how many was going in and the amount of chlorine in the water was stinging your eyes

The overflow field is a short walk from the main shower block and is only used at the busiest times of year. Our pool is monitored regularly and chlorine levels are kept within recommended guidelines, but it’s always best for swimmers to shower before entering to help us keep the balance right. We hope to welcome you again in the future when it is not August Bank Holiday weekend.

No em va agradar: The porta-loos were as clean as they could be but didn’t have any opportunity to wash hands. The foot pumps didn’t generally work either. They were always stocked up with toilet roll which was great!

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: On site entertainment to suit everyone's needs which is clearly timetabled. Huge site with lots of spaces to pitch up. ( We were non hook up). It has a small shop on site which caters for almost everything you've forgotten to pack. Situated between bays you can take a lovely coastal stroll to Cayton Bay, Filey or Scarborough but if you don't want to walk or drive there's a reliable bus service too . It has an excellent Fish and Chip shop..the best I've had in absolute ages.
No em va agradar: Although there are plenty of porta loos they can get into abit of a state. However this is not down to lack of maintenance but guests inabilaties to toilet properly.

No em va agradar: I didn’t realise it was such a large field with so many pitches. It’s great for those looking for a bustling holiday but we prefer quiet. Luckily they were very happy to let us pitch up away from all the fun. Also as so many people it was hard for the cleaning team to keep on top of the showers and toilets.
