The site was immaculate and the shower block was so clean and well maintained. Access to the river or a short 10 min walk to the lake was so handy. Plus a bakery around the corner in the village was a bonus for early morning croissants. Would definitely stay here again.

No em va agradar: Although the sanitary facilities were excellent there just wasn’t enough of them to accommodate the amount of people who needed to use them. Sadly the camp site does not provide any social amenities like food or drinks on site, if you want anything you have to venture into the very small village which has limited shops and no restaurants

The toilets were spotless in part because of their sensible no outdoor shoes in the loos policy and in part because they are always cleaning them. It’s a quiet site with all the facilities you’d expect and even WiFi on the pitches. The river is great to paddle in. Best of all getting through the arch was not as hard as I expected. The pitch was a generous size and the electric point in easy reach. The owners have a real attention to detail and things like the carved wooden signs and the compost bin take this site to the next level.

No em va agradar: It was not a dislike to use as we found it so unusual but there is a bell that chimes every your on the hour for that amount of hours day and night.

The pitches are a good size most with partial shade, a must when we were there as it was 30 degrees. The facilities are of excellent standard, well maintained and spotlessly clean.( remember flip flops as outdoor shoes are not allowed in the toilet & shower block) The hosts are friendly & helpful, this is a great site for an overnight stop like or us or equally as good for a longer stay as there are lots of water activities on the lake & lots of places to visit close by.

Thanks for your review which enables me to give many interesting infos.
Even though the number of showers has been realized in numbers according to a 4* level (yes,really), I admit that at some points everybody arrives at the same time and you may need to wait or come back later.
But contrary to your saying, we have a bar with Draft beers, bottles of wine (red, white and rosé), Champagne, bottles of local beers and also softs drinks and Ice Creams, You can't miss that as it's at the reception!
We even have food trucks coming 4 days a week (monday : chineese, tuesday : the 13bis restaurant comes in our premises, wednesday : flameküeche, thursday : roasted chickens) and for the 3 other days, there are 4 restaurants at a 5min walk at the lake. The planing is displayed at the dish washing area.
The small shop at the reception will provide the strict necessary when the village shop (at 50m!) is closed. Pasta, rice, couscous, tuna, paté, peanuts, chips, drinks, salt, pepper, ketchup, oil, vinager, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, ...
The village has 1 small shop (50meters), a bakery (100m), a "café" 150m, a pharmacy, and 5 restaurants at a 5min walk (Pizzeria Les 3 pianos, Bistro Nouveau, Brasserie du Port, Pizzeria du Port, M Beach)
And if you need there are 3 supermarkets (Leclerc, Intermarché and Aldi) and all kind of shops at 5km only. it's doable with the bikes.
On arrival, we are pleased to give you a map of the area with all these informations.
