This was probably the nicest campsite we’ve ever stayed at! It was very clean and well laid out - the toilets & showers were modern and very clean. The pitches were spacious and there was direct access to the river. Would 100% stay again and recommend to others!

A lovely friendly welcome peaceful site. Beautiful area. Lakes Close by. One of my favourite sites on our 18 day tour pity we were only there one night.

Very tight trying to manoeuvre around the site and pitch a 7.54 metre single axle caravan. More suited to small caravans and camper vans. For this reason wouldn’t stay again although one of my favourite sites on this tour.

It wasn’t a problem having unisex immaculately clean sanitares. It was strange having food prep sinks and washing up areas in the same inside area as basins, toilets and showers…. Not problematic though.

We loved everything about this site. The bathrooms were to a very high standard, beautiful and very clean. The staff were friendly and always on hand to help if it was needed. We had vehicle problems during our stay and the staff helped us get them sorted, finding a garage for us.
The setting is beautiful as is the town of Dienville and the nearby lakes which you can walk to. There was a boulangerie, 3 minutes walk from the site and a café in the town. Every evening, there were different opportunities to try different food from the different restaurants and caterers who came to the site. There were extra activity options available for canoeing at the lake and bicycle rentals.
Everything was explained very clearly by the owner.
My husband has been touring all over Europe over the last 2 months and has been to over 40 different camping sites. He says that Domaine Le Colombier is by far the very best.
We can't wait to return.

Great welcome, and pristine facilities. River was lovely and nearby lake is a good facility. Pitch was a good size for a 6 berth motorhome. Kids loved the free roaming chickens and cat.
