Absolutely everything! This site sets the standard very high; we came away inspired and refreshed with many very special memories as well as some pots of Tina's Relish and Red Grape Jelly! This location and it's outstanding and unique facilities is clearly a labour of love. The little potager, firepit, misting shower, fabulous showers (with bathmat!) and cosy shared kitchen were more than we could have hoped for. Justin and Tina are generous with their time, resources and knowledge and are sincere and thoughtful in their welcome and ongoing attention. Fabulous weather added to our now favourite site of anywhere we've been to date!

Using pitchup means we visit places off the usual main stream camping sites, they are always excellent and Camping La Fortinerie was fantastic, so friendly and with such great facilities. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is in a beautiful, tranquil valley, wooded and peaceful. I really recommend it as a great place to get away

What a gem of a campsite! Only stayed one night as travelling South but would loved to have stayed longer and explore the area. Small and Tina and Julian were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Gorgeous setting with many personal touches - such as hammocks, kitchen with everything you’d need and homemade jams etc. Communal firepit, kitchen area and the toilet/shower facilities were stunning.

Lots of personal touches. Bath mats were a huge treat. Lovely bathrooms. Great campers kitchen with local produce on offer. Clean and tidy. Peaceful and relaxing. Super-friendly owners. Close to Saumur. We recommend the boat trip on the Loire

Great little campsite with all the facilities you need, flat tree lined grass pitches, electric, BBQ and lounging spaces dotted around and a kitchen area with all the facilities including washing machine for use by all. Host Tina and Julian are vey welcoming and went above and beyond to help when we had vehicle issues. Would recommend this to anyone

Everything about the place. The owners are exceptional, they are welcoming make you feel at home and a part of their journey.
The facilities are the best, clean, well looked after and visited regularly by the owners “Tina and Julian.
Other benefits are in the summer fresh veg, fresh eggs, full use of the garden kitchen. That place comprises a huge fridge freezer, oven, fridge, wash hand basin, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drying. Not to mention the many condiments, jams, chutney, fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden. Plus so much more.

Not much to say here!

We have stayed at La Fortinerie before and it never disappoints. The pitches are large and the site is pretty. Still have the best bathrooms in France :) Tina and Julian are the perfect hosts.

Everything. Peaceful, quiet, super showers, very clean.
Hosts are wonderful people, the cats, dogs and chickens add to the rural nature of the magic spot.
